Valor Mortis’s published PC requirements list Windows 11, a 64-bit processor and operating system, 16 GB of RAM, DirectX 12, an SSD and 50 GB of available storage. The minimum tier names an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel Core i7-11700 processor and an AMD Radeon RX 6700 or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super graphics card; the recommended tier names a Ryzen 7 7700 or Core i7-13700 and a Radeon RX 7900 GRE or GeForce RTX 4070. Steam identifies these as demo specifications that may change for the final release.
Valor Mortis PC requirements
The table reflects the requirements published on Steam and AMD’s Valor Mortis page as of October 11, 2026. The tiers differ in their processor and graphics-card options; the listed operating system, memory, DirectX version and storage requirements are the same.

Steam’s note is explicit: “SSD is REQUIRED! This demo spec is subject to change for the final release.” AMD’s game page also lists the AMD processor and graphics-card options, along with the shared OS, memory, DirectX and storage requirements.

Compare the processor and graphics card in your PC with one of the listed tiers, then check the shared requirements. The components are alternatives within each tier: for example, the minimum graphics line lists either the Radeon RX 6700 or GeForce RTX 2070 Super.

- Operating system: Windows 11 is the OS listed. Windows 10 is not listed as supported in these published requirements.
- Memory: Both tiers list 16 GB of RAM.
- Storage: You need an SSD with at least 50 GB available for the game.
- Graphics and processor: Match your hardware against the minimum or recommended models in the table; the recommended models are not stated as a requirement to play.
- DirectX: Both tiers specify DirectX 12.
The requirements do not give a target resolution, graphics preset or frame rate. They therefore do not establish what performance a qualifying PC will deliver.
Why these requirements may change
The published figures are for the demo, not a confirmed final-release specification. In an October 8, 2026 announcement, developer One More Level said demo levels were bespoke versions and that bringing them in line with full-game optimization improvements, balancing and bug fixes was not simple. That explains the demo warning, but does not establish how final-game performance will compare. The developer’s announcement is available in the Valor Mortis Steam Community announcements.

What kind of game is Valor Mortis?
Steam describes Valor Mortis as a single-player, first-person action soulslike from the creators of Ghostrunner. AMD describes combat involving parries, dashes, finishers and weapon combinations. Steam listed October 13, 2026 as the planned release date; the developer’s announcement also gave that date.
