What does “digital credit” mean in UTXO’s framework?
UTXO Management describes digital credit as four layers, moving from Bitcoin toward increasingly structured securities. The distinction matters because a product’s connection to Bitcoin does not necessarily mean that its investors own Bitcoin or have rights to Bitcoin held as collateral.
- Bitcoin: the underlying digital asset.
- Instruments redeemable for Bitcoin: UTXO gives spot exchange-traded funds as an example of instruments in this layer.
- Securities built on Bitcoin or ETFs: these are not described as giving holders a direct claim on Bitcoin collateral.
- Products structured on those securities: UTXO says this layer also has no direct claim on Bitcoin collateral.

How does UTXO describe its Preferred Income Strategies LP?
UTXO says its Preferred Income Strategies LP launched July 1, 2026, as a tranched structure fund built on digital credit. In the company’s article, the portfolio at that time was made up of STRC, with potential to diversify into preferred instruments issued by companies that hold Bitcoin as a reserve asset. - Volatility and structure: consider how Bitcoin-related price movements and the product’s own design may affect value.

Is the bond market really worth $300 trillion?
