Minimum versus recommended: what the two tiers tell you
Minimum means the listed entry point
Meeting every minimum item puts your PC at the published entry tier. It does not establish a particular frame rate, resolution, graphics preset, loading time, or visual quality. A computer that misses one item is outside the documented configuration; the listing does not say whether that machine will launch, how stable it will be, or which setting might compensate.
Recommended is a higher hardware target
The recommended column is useful when you want to compare your PC with the developer’s stronger configuration. It still is not a performance promise. The page supplies no benchmark conditions, so matching an RTX 3060, RX 5700, Core i7-9700, or Ryzen 5 3600 cannot be converted into a guaranteed FPS figure.
Why every component matters
A gaming PC can be strong in one area and limited in another. For example, 16 GB of RAM does not make up for a graphics card below the minimum, and a modern GPU does not change an operating-system requirement. Check the operating system, processor, memory, graphics card, and free space separately.
How to check your PC before buying or installing

1. Confirm the Windows edition and architecture
- Open Settings and select System, then About.
- Under Windows specifications, note the edition and version.
- Under Device specifications, find System type. The listing calls for a 64-bit operating system.
The published requirement specifically names Windows 10 64-bit. The page does not establish support for another Windows release or for Linux, macOS, or a virtual machine, so treat those configurations as unconfirmed rather than automatically supported.
2. Identify the processor and installed RAM
- In Settings > System > About, read the Processor and Installed RAM fields.
- Alternatively, press
Ctrl+Shift+Escto open Task Manager, then choose Performance. Select CPU for the model and Memory for total RAM.
Compare the processor model, not just its clock speed, with the listed Core i3-4130, FX-8350, Core i7-9700, and Ryzen 5 3600 options. The requirement names specific CPUs, so an unfamiliar model cannot be classified from GHz alone.
3. Find the active graphics card
- Press
Windows+R, enterdxdiag, and pressEnter. - Open the Display or Render tab, depending on your Windows configuration.
- Record the GPU name exactly as shown. If the PC has integrated and discrete graphics, note both and identify which one the game is expected to use.
The minimum names are GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and Radeon R9 280; the recommended names are GeForce RTX 3060 and Radeon RX 5700. A similar-sounding model is not automatically equivalent, and the listing does not provide a supported-GPU equivalency chart.

4. Check available storage on the intended drive
- Open File Explorer and select This PC.
- Find the drive where you plan to install the game and read its free-space figure.
- Compare that number with 20 GB for minimum or 24 GB for recommended.
“Available” means free space at the time of installation. If the drive is close to the threshold, remove or move files before starting the download so temporary installation data and later updates do not immediately consume the remaining capacity. Your PC meets the recommended list
A full match with the recommended column places your system at the developer’s higher listed hardware target. It is a sensible configuration to seek if you want more headroom than the minimum tier, but the page still offers no guarantee of smooth performance at a particular resolution or quality level.

Mixed configurations are common. A system might have 16 GB of RAM but a graphics card closer to the minimum, or a recommended GPU paired with an older processor. Record each result and identify the lowest tier it actually meets. Do not label the entire PC “recommended” because one part qualifies.
One component is below minimum
The official information cannot tell you whether the game will launch or run acceptably in that case. You can still compare upgrade options, but any prediction about FPS, required settings, or a workaround would go beyond the published data.
Storage planning and installation checks
The minimum listing asks for 20 GB of available space and the recommended listing asks for 24 GB. Those are not two different game editions; they are the storage figures attached to the two hardware tiers. Before installation:
- Verify free space on the actual installation drive, not only the drive containing Windows.
- Leave room for the installer to download and unpack files if your drive is nearly full.
- Recheck free space after installation if you plan to keep several large games on the same volume.
