To unlock Seedbearer’s Scripture in Mortal Shell 2, collect the Thawed, Depleted, and Faded Glands, ask Thestus at Marrow Keep to Call Forth the Night, then offer all three items to the remains on the upper floor of Forgotten Tower. Revered Glands are a separate item and will not work.
Where to find the three required Glands
Each quest pickup is in a different area. Use the exact item names in your inventory: similar-sounding Revered Glands do not count toward this offering.
| Gland | Location | Route landmark |
|---|---|---|
| Thawed Gland | Conquered Temple | In the left-side branch of the second indoor area on the snowy gate route, on a pedestal in front of a large stone head. |
| Depleted Gland | Withered Shoals, near Nameless Pass | Move toward Ruk and drop down one level. Look beside a torch and a bone arm; collect it before continuing toward the deeper boss approach. |
| Faded Gland | Faded Citadel, below Citadel Annex | Turn back from the usual upward route and drop into the lower area. Look for a stone dish ringed with candles among enemies. |
For the Thawed Gland, follow the route identified as Conquered Temple and use the stone-head landmark; older or alternate region labels may be confusing.

How to make the Forgotten Tower offering
- Confirm all three items. Check that your inventory contains the Thawed Gland, Depleted Gland, and Faded Gland—not Revered Glands.
- Activate Night Mode. Travel to Marrow Keep, speak with Thestus, and choose Call Forth the Night.
- Go to Forgotten Tower. Climb to the upper floor and interact with the remains to open the offering prompt.
- Hand in the three Glands. Complete the prompt. The guides describe a brief fade, after which Seedbearer’s Scripture appears in your inventory.
The offering is described as unavailable during daylight. If the prompt does not appear, check that Night Mode is visibly active, all three exact quest items are in your inventory, and you are interacting with the upper-floor remains rather than another tower object.

Yojaro 4Pack Silicone Suction Phone Case Mount, Silicon Adhesive Smartphones Stand Sticky, Hands-Free Phone Accessories Holder for Selfies and Videos (Black & White & Translucent & Light Pink)
- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
What Seedbearer’s Scripture does
Guides describe two forms of the Scripture that counter Cosmic Disease. One guide reports that the active form cures the status and grants 50% mitigation for 30 seconds; another reports 15% ongoing mitigation for the passive form. These are secondary-guide figures, not independently reproduced tests, and item values may vary by familiarity tier. Read the Scripture’s live description in your installed build before relying on a particular duration or percentage.
| Form | Reported role | Use case |
|---|---|---|
| Active | Immediate cure and mitigation; one guide reports 50% mitigation for 30 seconds. | Use when Cosmic Disease is already the immediate problem. The reported duration and percentage should be checked against the current item description and familiarity tier. |
| Passive | Ongoing mitigation; one guide reports 15%. | Consider it when you want mitigation to remain in effect while reserving the active slot for another use. Check the installed build’s displayed value. |
The reported benefit addresses Cosmic Disease pressure; the guides do not describe it as protection from other damage or as a replacement for ordinary combat defense.

- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Why the offering may not work
- Wrong Glands: Revered Glands are a separate healing upgrade. The offering requires the Thawed, Depleted, and Faded Glands.
- Wrong time: Speak to Thestus and select Call Forth the Night; the offering is described as unavailable in daylight.
- Wrong location or object: Reach Forgotten Tower’s upper floor and interact with the remains.
- Missing item or prompt: Recheck the three inventory names and confirm Night Mode is active before trying the interaction again.
Route and effect details here come from specialist guides; official documentation or patch notes confirming them across every platform and build were not available. Treat the item description in your installed version as the best guide to its current numerical effects.
