The UNISOC T7250 is the stronger chipset on paper: it combines newer performance cores, a more capable listed GPU and support for faster memory and optional UFS storage. 91mobiles’ reported scores also favor T7250-equipped phones, although they are device-derived results—not a controlled test of both chips in otherwise identical phones. Both chipsets are 4G-only.
How the T7250 and Helio G35 differ
The biggest architectural distinction is the CPU core mix. The T7250 pairs two Cortex-A75 performance cores with six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. The Helio G35 uses eight Cortex-A53 cores. The G35 advertises a higher maximum clock, but clock speed alone does not show which phone will feel faster: core design, cooling, firmware and the handset’s other components matter too.

These are platform specifications, not a list of features every phone will include. The phone maker chooses the actual RAM and storage, screen, camera hardware and wireless implementation. A supported maximum resolution or refresh rate does not guarantee a handset uses that panel. Likewise, ISP megapixel limits do not predict camera quality; the sensor, optics, image processing and software are important.

Which chipset is faster in benchmarks?
91mobiles’ database reports higher scores for phones using the T7250 than for the listed Helio G35 comparison:

These are 91mobiles’ reported figures, accessed in 2026. The site says its results come from real-world phones and describes the T7250 AnTuTu score as the highest recorded among devices it tracks. Its methodology includes AnTuTu and Geekbench 6, controlled test conditions and retesting notable deviations. However, the T7250 listing aggregates device results; the cited pages do not establish a dated head-to-head test using the same phone configuration. RAM, storage, cooling, firmware and test version can affect results, so treat the scores as indicative rather than guaranteed or as a universal speed ratio. What the specifications mean for gaming, memory and displays
Gaming and graphics
The T7250 lists an Arm Mali-G57 GPU, while the G35 lists an IMG PowerVR GE8320. Their different architectures make a comparison based only on clock rates unreliable. The available information does not establish matched-phone game frame rates, so a specific gaming-performance claim would require testing the actual handsets and games.

RAM and storage
T7250 support for LPDDR4X at up to 1866 MHz and optional UFS 2.1/2.2 gives phone makers room for faster configurations than the G35’s listed eMMC 5.1 storage support. But a chip’s support ceiling is not the installed configuration. Check the exact phone’s RAM type and capacity, and whether it uses eMMC or UFS, before comparing responsiveness or app-loading expectations.

Refresh rate and resolution
UNISOC says the T7250 supports 720p and 1080p screens, with a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. Its product specification lists FHD+ at 60 Hz or HD+ at 120 Hz. That does not mean every T7250 phone has a 120 Hz panel. MediaTek lists FullHD+ support for the G35; the finished phone’s actual screen specifications are handset-specific.
Neither chipset supports 5G
Both platforms are 4G LTE chipsets, not 5G chipsets. Their listed cellular categories do not tell you which LTE bands a particular phone supports. For coverage or carrier compatibility, check the exact regional handset variant and the carrier’s supported bands rather than relying on the processor name.

What to check when choosing between phones
The chipset comparison favors the T7250, but the processor name alone cannot settle which complete phone is the better purchase. Compare the specific handset variants on:

As one implementation example, 91mobiles lists the Xiaomi Redmi A5 with the T7250, 3 GB or 4 GB LPDDR4X, a 720×1650 HD+ screen rated at 120 Hz and 4G connectivity. Verdict: T7250 is the better-equipped platform
The T7250 has the more modern CPU arrangement and stronger listed memory, storage and graphics options, and the available 91mobiles benchmark figures favor T7250 phones. The Helio G35’s higher advertised CPU clock does not outweigh those differences by itself. For a real purchase, compare the exact phones: their installed components, network bands, software support, availability and performance matter more than a chipset specification sheet alone.
