The UGREEN Nexode Air Slim X865 is a good fit if you want a thin, three-port charger for travel or a cramped outlet. Its 65 W rating applies to the charger’s total output, not to a laptop while all three ports are occupied: Notebookcheck’s review of the EU Type F model reports that USB-C1 drops from 65 W alone to 45 W when another port is used. That shared output, plus heat and a small power reduction noted under sustained full load, makes it less suitable for demanding laptops that need high wattage continuously.
What the Nexode Air Slim X865 offers
UGREEN lists the X865 as a 65 W GaN charger with two USB-C ports, one USB-A port, and a foldable plug. Its compact, slim design is intended to make it easier to carry or use where a conventional charger would be awkward. The 65 W figure is the maximum total output; how much a connected device receives depends on which ports are in use.
UGREEN lists support for PD 3.2/3.0, AVS, PPS, QC 3.0, FCP, AFC, Apple charging, and BC 1.2. It also lists over-temperature, over-current, over-voltage, under-voltage, and short-circuit protection. These are manufacturer specifications and claims; compatibility and charging speed depend on the connected device and its supported charging profile. UGREEN’s product page notes that environmental conditions and the specific device can affect charging speed.

Notebookcheck’s 2026-08-26 review of the EU Type F model reports these maximum port outputs and allocations. They describe the power available at each port under the listed connection pattern, not a guarantee that every device will charge at its own maximum speed.

- Universal compatibility: Designed to work perfectly with a wide range of electronic devices, this 3-Port USB-C charger can charge devices from phones to laptops ( MacBook , iPad Pro, iPhone 17/16/15 Series, Galaxy S25/S24, Steam Deck, and More ), enhancing connectivity and convenience
| Ports in use | Reported output allocation |
|---|---|
| USB-C1 only | Up to 65 W |
| USB-C2 only | Up to 30 W |
| USB-A only | Up to 22.5 W |
| USB-C1 and USB-C2 | 45 W + 20 W |
| USB-C1 and USB-A | 45 W + 18 W |
| All three ports | 45 W + 15 W + 15 W |
For a laptop and phone together, the practical point is that USB-C1 is reported at 45 W when another port is occupied. That may be enough for some computers, but it can be insufficient for a high-performance laptop under heavy load. Check the laptop maker’s recommended adapter wattage and allow for the fact that a connected phone or accessory changes the charger’s allocation. UGREEN’s 65 W charger guide also describes the output as shared among connected devices.
What the independent review found
Notebookcheck’s Daniel Schmidt reviewed the EU Type F version on 2026-08-26. The review lists a weight of 112 g, dimensions of 86.9 × 53.2 × 14.5 mm, and a maximum folded height of 28 mm. Those measurements apply to the tested EU plug version, not every regional model: the review notes that the US Type A version can fold its blades into the charger body, which changes the folded profile. Check the plug design and dimensions for the version sold in your region.

They are relevant if you expect to run a demanding laptop at sustained high load while charging other devices.
The review listed a suggested retail price of €50 in its EU review context. That is not a current or global price; availability, listings, and prices can change. Read Notebookcheck’s review for its test details and regional context.

Is it a good choice for your setup?
It makes sense if you want
- A slim charger with three ports for a laptop, phone, and smaller device from one outlet, provided their combined charging needs fit the shared output.
- A travel or commuting charger, or one that can fit a tight space such as an outlet behind furniture.
- One charger that can deliver up to 65 W to USB-C1 when it is the only port in use.
Consider another arrangement if you need
- A laptop to receive 65 W while a phone or another device is also charging. The reviewed EU model allocates 45 W to USB-C1 in multi-port configurations.
- High, sustained laptop power under heavy workloads. The review observed a small reduction in output after several minutes at full load, and cautioned that 45 W may not be enough for some high-performance laptops.
- Only one device charged at a time. UGREEN’s guide notes that a single-port 65 W charger may be a simpler, smaller alternative; the X865’s advantage is the extra ports, with the trade-off of shared power.
Cable and plug details to check
Notebookcheck lists the charger alone in the EU package contents, so do not assume a USB-C cable is included. UGREEN says a 60 W-rated USB-C cable can limit a 65 W charger to 60 W. If you need the full 65 W from USB-C1, use a compatible cable rated for at least 65 W and confirm what is included with the particular regional listing.
UGREEN also states that a brief interruption can occur when a new device is plugged in because the charger adjusts power across its ports. In its words, “A brief power interruption may occur when a new device is plugged into the charger; this is normal as the charger adjusts the output power of each port accordingly.”
