If TVS Connect asks for a registered mobile number after you bought a used NTORQ 125, resolve the app’s account or vehicle mapping first. Bluetooth pairing comes afterward. If the scooter is still linked to the previous owner, contact TVS Connect support or an authorized TVS dealer to check the chassis number and confirm how to update access; the NTORQ 125 manual does not describe a self-service ownership-transfer procedure.
Why the app asks for a registered number
The registered-number prompt is an account or vehicle-access issue, not the Bluetooth pairing code. TVS identifies TVS Connect as the NTORQ 125 companion app, and its pairing guidance treats app access as a step before connecting the phone to the scooter. Because you bought the scooter from its first owner, its app access may still be associated with that owner’s mobile number. The cited NTORQ 125 manual does not explain how a subsequent owner can remove that number or transfer registration. Reinstalling the app or resetting Bluetooth should not be treated as an ownership-transfer fix.

If the app offers vehicle onboarding, enter the scooter’s VIN or chassis number exactly as it appears on the vehicle documents, then follow the verification steps shown in the app. A 2026 NTORQ 150 manual documents onboarding by chassis number, but that is a different model and does not establish the process or second-owner policy for every NTORQ 125. If TVS Connect specifically requires a mobile number registered to someone else, stop retrying Bluetooth pairing and ask TVS to check the vehicle mapping. Email tvsconnectsupport@tvsmotor.com or visit an authorized TVS main dealer/dealer. Provide the chassis/VIN and ask how a subsequent owner can have app access remapped. The app recognizes the scooter, but pairing fails: retry the Bluetooth steps with the phone near the scooter, then consult the manual or authorized dealer for connectivity help. The NTORQ 125 manual specifically refers connectivity-feature problems to an authorized dealer. NTORQ 125 Owner’s Manual
