If your TVS Ntorq 125 appears in TVS Connect but the app stays on “Connecting,” the scooter has been found but the connection has not completed. That alone does not show whether the problem is the app, phone settings, an old pairing, or the scooter’s cluster. Start with TVS’s pairing steps, then check the settings that can interrupt pairing.
What it means when the Ntorq appears but will not connect
Seeing the Ntorq name means it is being listed during discovery; it does not confirm that pairing or the connection has finished. TVS’s instructions require you to select the listed vehicle and complete the remaining connection steps. An indefinite connecting message without an error is therefore not enough to identify a failed Bluetooth module.
Pair the scooter from TVS Connect
- Check your scooter and app. Confirm that your Ntorq has a connected instrument cluster and that you are using the TVS Connect app. TVS publishes separate manuals for connected and non-connected clusters, as well as for different variants.
- Switch on the scooter and keep your phone nearby. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on the phone.
- Start the connection in the app. Open TVS Connect, tap Connect, then select the Ntorq when it appears.
- Follow any pairing-code prompt. If the app or scooter requests a code, use the instructions for your specific variant in its owner’s manual. TVS’s manufacturer connection guidance, dated 26 December 2024, describes this pairing sequence: How to Connect TVS Ntorq Bluetooth on Android & iPhone.
If this phone has connected to the scooter before
Remove the old pairing on iPhone
If you previously paired this iPhone, TVS’s owner’s manual instructs you to remove the previously connected instrument cluster from the iPhone’s Bluetooth settings using Forget This Device, then pair again through TVS Connect. This clears the saved pairing rather than relying on the app to reuse it.

Saved-device menus and labels vary by Android phone and OS version. If the phone has an old Ntorq cluster entry, remove that saved pairing using the phone’s Bluetooth settings, then restart the pairing process from TVS Connect. Android settings that can interfere with pairing
For Android versions above 8.0, a TVS owner’s manual says to remove battery optimization for TVS Connect and allow GPS to run in the background in high-accuracy mode. It also warns that battery-saver mode may prevent automatic pairing. These are instructions in that manual for its described setup, not a guarantee that every current app version or Ntorq variant uses identical settings.
If TVS Connect stops unexpectedly, the manual recommends closing and reopening the app, then trying manual pairing again. Android setting names and locations can differ by manufacturer and OS version; consult your phone’s app battery and location permissions rather than assuming a single menu path. If it still stays on “Connecting”
Record the details that will help distinguish a phone-side issue from a scooter-side one:

- Your Ntorq model year and variant, including whether it has the connected cluster.
- Whether this phone has paired successfully before.
- Whether another phone can connect to the scooter.
- What the instrument cluster displays while TVS Connect is trying to pair.
Use the manual matching your year and variant; TVS’s manual portal lists separate Ntorq XT, Race XP, connected-cluster, and non-connected-cluster manuals. If the official pairing steps do not resolve the issue, contact TVS Connect support at tvsconnectsupport@tvsmotor.com or call 1800-258-7555, as listed on TVS’s user-manual portal and Ntorq SmartXonnect page. A TVS service center can investigate the vehicle if the connection still fails; the symptom alone does not establish that a Bluetooth part needs replacement.
