As of the October 2026 listings, the clearest candidates below ₹60,000 are an HP EliteBook 650 G10 touchscreen configuration listed at ₹57,490–₹57,990 and several older or availability-dependent models. The Asus Chromebook CM3206DM4A-TR0119 is listed at ₹48,990 but marked out of stock; the HP Pavilion x360 14-dh1178TU is listed at ₹49,347, with its older processor and current availability worth checking. The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 is a documented 360-degree convertible, but the cited listing is ₹60,490—₹490 over budget. Prices and stock can change, so verify the exact model and checkout total before buying.
Touchscreen laptops under ₹60,000: what the listings show
These listings are not interchangeable picks. One runs ChromeOS, one is listed with DOS, and the HP Pavilion listing describes an older processor. Also distinguish a touchscreen from a convertible: a touchscreen responds to touch, while a 360-degree hinge lets the screen fold back for tablet or tent use.
| Model and cited price | Display and configuration in the listing | Operating system and form | What to verify |
|---|---|---|---|
| Asus Chromebook CM3206DM4A-TR0119 — ₹48,990 91mobiles listing | 12.1-inch 2560 × 1600 IPS; MediaTek Kompanio 540; 8 GB LPDDR5X; 128 GB eMMC | Chromebook; touchscreen listing, but a 360-degree hinge is not established here | The listing is marked out of stock. Confirm live stock and whether ChromeOS supports your required apps. |
| HP Pavilion x360 14-dh1178TU — ₹49,347 91mobiles listing | 14-inch; Core i3-10110U; 8 GB DDR4; 512 GB SSD | x360-branded potential convertible; listed in a touchscreen-laptop list | Check current availability, exact touchscreen/hinge configuration, and whether the older processor meets your needs. |
| HP EliteBook 650 G10 — ₹57,490–₹57,990 Smartprix listing | 15.6-inch 1920 × 1080 touchscreen; Core i5-1335U; 8 GB RAM; 512 GB SSD | DOS listed; not identified as a convertible | Confirm the installed operating system and budget for setup or a Windows licence if required. |
| Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 82XX007KIN — ₹60,490 Smartprix listing | Exact configuration should be checked against the SKU | Flex 5 family includes documented 360-degree touchscreen configurations | This cited price exceeds the cap by ₹490. Include it only if a current seller’s final price for the exact SKU is at or below ₹60,000. |
Prices above are the figures shown by the cited listing pages, not guaranteed checkout prices. The listing evidence does not establish a consistent warranty or seller-terms comparison; inspect those details on the live retailer page.

For a larger Windows-capable work laptop
The EliteBook 650 G10 listing has the strongest stated processor and storage combination among the candidates shown within budget: a 13th-generation Core i5-1335U, 8 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD. Its listed DOS installation is a crucial qualification, not a minor spec detail. Check what the seller actually supplies and whether you can install or license the operating system you need.

For ChromeOS and a compact high-resolution screen
The Asus Chromebook’s listed 12.1-inch 2560 × 1600 display and 8 GB LPDDR5X memory may appeal if your work is compatible with ChromeOS. But 91mobiles marks the model out of stock, so treat ₹48,990 as a listed price rather than an available offer. Check the listing and confirm stock with a retailer.
For a budget x360-style convertible
The HP Pavilion x360 14-dh1178TU is listed at ₹49,347 with a Core i3-10110U, 8 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD. The x360 name suggests a fold-back design, but confirm the exact model’s touchscreen, hinge configuration and condition before purchasing. Its processor is older than the EliteBook’s, and current availability is not established by the listing.

For tablet or tent use with a pen
Lenovo documents the IdeaPad Flex 5 as a 360-degree convertible with a touchscreen and a digital pen in specified configurations. The India store describes an AMD configuration with a 14-inch FHD IPS touchscreen, Windows 11 Home, 8 GB soldered memory and 512 GB SSD; a separate Flex 5 Gen 8 14ABR8 configuration has Ryzen 5 7530U, 16 GB soldered memory, 512 GB SSD, a 14-inch WUXGA touch display and Lenovo Digital Pen. These are configuration-specific details, not a guarantee that every Flex 5 includes a pen. See Lenovo India’s product information and confirm the exact SKU and bundle. The cited Smartprix price for 82XX007KIN is over budget.

How to check a touchscreen laptop before checkout
- Match the exact model number. Product families can contain different processors, memory, displays and included accessories. Compare the full SKU on the retailer page with the manufacturer’s configuration.
- Confirm touch and hinge type. Check that the listing explicitly says touchscreen. If you want tablet or tent mode, verify a 360-degree hinge; touch alone does not mean the display folds back.
- Check the operating system. Confirm whether the laptop comes with Windows, ChromeOS, DOS or another OS. Check your required software and account for installation or licensing if the supplied OS is not suitable.
- Verify stock and final price. Recheck availability, delivery, seller, discounts and checkout total. The Asus Chromebook is marked out of stock in the cited listing, and the Lenovo SKU’s cited price is above the budget.
- Check the pen and seller terms. For stylus use, verify compatibility and whether the pen is included in that exact configuration. Review warranty and return terms on the live product page.
Models that do not qualify as confirmed under-budget picks
Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5
Lenovo’s product information supports the Flex 5’s touchscreen and convertible use, but the cited Smartprix listing for 82XX007KIN is ₹60,490. It is a near-budget option, not an under-₹60,000 recommendation at that listed price. A different seller or promotion may change the final price, so compare the exact configuration rather than assuming the family name identifies one spec.

ASUS Vivobook S14 Flip TP5408
ASUS India specifies a 14-inch 1920 × 1200 touch display with stylus support, 8 GB onboard RAM and 512 GB SSD for the TP5408. Its official specifications establish features, not an India price under ₹60,000, so there is not enough evidence here to include it as a qualifying budget pick. See ASUS India’s specifications and check current pricing for the exact configuration.
