Tormented Souls 2 is scheduled to launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on October 15, 2026. Nintendo lists Dual Effect Games as the developer and PQube Limited as publisher. The release is planned for both Nintendo eShop and a physical edition, although final pricing and retailer inventory have not been confirmed in the available announcements.
Release date and launch details
Nintendo’s UK product listing and PQube’s Nintendo Switch 2 announcement trailer both give October 15, 2026 as the release date. That is a scheduled date and could still change, so buyers should check the current Nintendo listing or retailer information close to launch.
PQube describes the game as a sequel in which “Caroline Walker returns in the sequel to the award-winning survival horror classic.” That wording is publisher copy, not an independently measured assessment of the earlier game or the sequel.

The story follows Caroline Walker after the events at Wildberger Hospital. She hopes to build a normal life with her sister, Anna, but Anna begins suffering visions of violence and death. Anna’s disturbing drawings then start becoming reality.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Caroline travels to the remote town of Villa Hess and a mysterious clinic in the mountains of southern Chile to free her sister from the affliction. PQube’s description also says Caroline explores the decaying remains of Villa Hess, uses improvised weapons against creatures and bends reality while confronting a cult. Those are publisher-described features; no hands-on performance or gameplay testing has been reported in the available official material.

Physical edition versus Nintendo eShop
PQube’s announcement says the physical edition is available for preorder and directs players to wishlist the game on Nintendo eShop. This establishes both a publisher-announced physical route and a digital Nintendo route, but it does not establish a price, a specific retailer’s stock, or a confirmed Amazon listing.

How Nintendo eShop preorders are charged
Nintendo’s UK store terms state that a preorder is charged automatically starting seven days before release. If the order is placed fewer than seven days before launch, the charge is made immediately. These terms apply to Nintendo’s eShop purchase flow and do not describe independent retailers’ payment policies.

- Players who want portable horror: Nintendo lists handheld and tabletop support as well as TV play.
- TV players with compatible hardware: HDR is listed when the game is used with a compatible television.
- Buyers choosing between formats: The digital listing and physical preorder provide two purchase paths, but regional price and stock checks are still necessary.
- Story-focused survival-horror fans: The official synopsis centers on Caroline’s search for Anna, reality-altering drawings, a remote Chilean setting and a cult.
What has not been confirmed
The official Nintendo listing and PQube announcement do not provide a final price, retailer inventory, Amazon availability, performance measurements, frame-rate targets, resolution details or independent hands-on impressions. They also do not establish that the 77.0 MB UK metadata applies to other regions. Treat those details as open questions until Nintendo or retailers publish territory-specific information.
