To Farm Lands: Sowing Fields is an untimed, single-player grid-fitting puzzle, not a farming simulator. Its advertised 30 levels and three biomes may appeal if you want a relaxed, short-form shape puzzle; the main reservation is that its rules appear less distinctive than those of its predecessor.
What kind of game is To Farm Lands: Sowing Fields?
You fit animal-shaped pieces into grids until the board is filled. The farm theme supplies the visual framing, but the central activity is arranging shapes rather than planting or managing crops. The Nintendo listing describes 30 levels across three biomes, with no time limits and the ability to rotate pieces and test combinations.
Those details come from the publisher description on Nintendo’s official listing. Its language about relaxation and stimulating the mind is promotional positioning, not evidence of measured relaxation or cognitive benefits.

How do the puzzles work?
In his review for TheXboxHub, Dave Ozzy describes levels as shaped pieces that must fit together to fill the available grid. He recommends placing larger pieces first, since smaller shapes can be easier to fit into the spaces left behind. Later levels reportedly use larger, less obvious arrangements, so solving them involves trying different combinations.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Ozzy also notes a hint system and says fitting difficult shapes together can be satisfying. Those are the reviewer’s observations, rather than results from independent testing.
What does the review say about variety?
The main criticism is that Sowing Fields feels like a conventional shape-sorting puzzle rather than a sequel with a strong new hook. Ozzy argues that it drops the original game’s minimum- and maximum-piece constraints, which had helped distinguish its puzzles. In his view, the remaining play can become repetitive, even though some tricky fits provide a welcome payoff.

TheXboxHub’s Dave Ozzy gave the game 2.5/5 in a review published October 5, 2026. That score reflects one reviewer’s judgment; it is not a consensus rating or a measure of how every player will respond.
Who is likely to enjoy it?
- Consider it if: you want a single-player puzzle you can approach without a timer, and you enjoy filling boards with rotating shapes.
- Look elsewhere if: you want a farming simulation, substantial variation in puzzle rules, or the distinctive minimum/maximum-piece constraints the reviewer says the first game had.
- Decide based on your tolerance for repetition: the available review finds occasional satisfaction in difficult fits but criticizes the overall lack of novelty.

To Farm Lands: Sowing Fields looks best suited to players who want straightforward, untimed grid puzzles and do not need each level to introduce a new rule. The advertised level count and biomes provide a defined set of puzzles, but the independent review raises a meaningful question about how much variety the underlying rules sustain. If the original game’s piece constraints were the reason you liked it, the reported removal of those constraints is the clearest reason to be cautious.
