The Witcher 3 lets you change Geralt’s hair and beard at in-game barbers. The game does not rank the looks, so the picks below are editorial: they weigh how recognizable a style feels, how striking its silhouette is, and whether its beard can grow out. The Beard and Hairstyle Set is free DLC, according to CD Projekt Red’s June 12, 2015 announcement.
Which Geralt look should you choose?
There is no official best style. These categories are a practical way to choose based on the look you want, rather than a claim about popularity or developer intent.

Where are the barbers in The Witcher 3?
The official DLC announcement says the set is available from various barbers, but does not list them. The following locations are reported by The Official Witcher Wiki’s barber reference. Toussaint locations require Blood and Wine.

Which beard and hair options can you pick?
Hair
Guide references describe the choices as loosely gathered or tied-back hair, long loose hair, shorter loose hair, shaved hair with a ponytail, shaved sides with a short top and ponytail, and an elven-rebel cut. The exact presentation can be checked in the barber’s hairstyle menu.
Beards
The reported menu options include clean-shaven, a fluffy beard, a neat goatee, a short-trimmed full beard, a bushy goatee with a short moustache, mutton chops, a moustache with a soul patch, sideburns with a moustache, and a moustache with a small ducktail. The game’s selection names and guide descriptions may not use identical wording.

How to get the Queen’s Pageboy
The Queen’s Pageboy is an additional hairstyle associated with Blood and Wine, not a standard option to seek at any barber. Game8’s hairstyle guide and the Witcher Wiki’s Beard and Hairstyle Set reference report that Jean-Louis Ludovic at A Cut Above in Beauclair offers it after the quest “Of Sheers and a Witcher I Sing.”
- Have access to the Blood and Wine expansion and reach Toussaint.
- Complete “Of Sheers and a Witcher I Sing.”
- Visit Jean-Louis Ludovic at A Cut Above in Beauclair and select the Queen’s Pageboy from his hairstyle options.
What to know about beard growth
The Witcher Wiki reference reports that choosing clean-shaven or the short-trimmed full beard does not necessarily preserve that appearance: either can grow out over time. Other selected facial-hair styles are reported to stay fixed. If you want a beard shape that remains as selected, choose one of those other styles; if Geralt’s facial hair grows, return to a barber to change it.
