Samsung has not confirmed the identity, launch date or specifications of a Galaxy A57 successor, and the available reports do not show that the company plans to end or scale back the Galaxy A series. There have been development and certification clues, but they are not an official announcement. The Galaxy A57, announced in March 2026 and reported available by T3, is the clearest current reference point—not proof of what comes next.
What the reports actually establish
A reported test-server entry in November 2025
In November 2025, Gizmochina reported that a model believed to be the Galaxy A57 had appeared on a Samsung test server. The report based the identification on a model number and firmware entry attributed to a post on X. That is a development clue, not confirmation from Samsung: the identification was tentative, and the report’s expected specifications should be treated as speculation rather than a product sheet.
Certification listings reported in February 2026
In February 2026, Gizmochina reported that model numbers for the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 appeared in Singapore IMDA certification listings. A listing can indicate that a device is moving through a regulatory or market-preparation process, but the reported listings do not establish detailed specifications or a Samsung launch date. They also do not confirm what model, if any, will follow the A57.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteThese reports are consistent with A-series phones being developed, but neither is equivalent to a Samsung announcement. The distinction matters: a model-number clue can be misidentified, while a certification entry generally says much less about a phone’s features or release schedule than a full product announcement.

Is Samsung making another Galaxy A phone?
The reports provide indications of Galaxy A37 and A57 development before the A57’s announcement, but they do not answer whether Samsung is preparing a particular next-generation model now. The A57 was subsequently announced in March 2026, according to T3, and is reported available. That makes it a released phone, not a rumored successor.
No official successor identity, timing or specification list is established by the reporting described here. A reader looking for a buying date or confirmed feature list should therefore wait for Samsung to make an announcement rather than treating the earlier server or certification clues as a launch promise.

What the available Galaxy A57 tells us—and what it does not
T3’s review offers a concrete picture of the released A57. Its listed configuration has 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, with market-specific starting prices of £529 in the UK, $549 in the US and AU$749 in Australia. These are figures for that configuration as reported by T3, not a guarantee of current pricing or availability; check local listings for the price that applies to you.

Those specifications describe the A57 only; they should not be projected onto a future A-series model. In its review, T3 criticized the A57’s zoom and secondary-camera performance and said it was weaker for demanding gaming. Those are the reviewer’s assessments, not evidence about the next phone. T3 also described the phone’s glossy back as prone to fingerprints.

Does the A-series have a troubled future?
That concern remains unconfirmed. The development and certification reports do not show that Samsung is cancelling the A series, reducing its importance or changing its long-term plans. Equally, they do not guarantee that a particular successor will arrive. The most accurate conclusion is narrower: the reports offered clues about A-series models, the A57 has since been announced and is available according to T3, and the series’ longer-term direction has not been established by these reports.
For now, readers deciding whether to buy should judge the A57 as the available phone described in the review, not as a stand-in for an unannounced successor. Those who specifically want the next model’s confirmed features or timing do not yet have enough information here to make that decision on the basis of an official product announcement.

A practical note for A57 buyers
T3 says the A57 does not include a case or factory-applied screen protector. If you choose to buy one, check that the accessory listing names the exact Galaxy A57 model; similar-looking Galaxy A devices may not share compatible dimensions or cut-outs. This is a practical consideration for the released A57, not a clue about the successor’s design.
