No verified offer shows that the new Fire TV Stick 4K is still more than 50% off. Amazon’s launch promotion was tied to Prime Big Deal Days on October 6–7, 2026, which has passed. The historical deal was $29.99 in the US against a $59.99 list price; current pricing and any scheduled price increase have not been confirmed. Check the live listing before buying.
What happened to the Fire TV Stick 4K deal?
The headline’s “few hours left” urgency is stale as of October 13, 2026. Amazon announced the new Fire TV Stick 4K at a US list price of $59.99 and said US customers could buy it for $29.99 during Prime Big Deal Days, a 50% reduction. The event ran October 6–7. T3’s sale guide says the event ended at 11:59 p.m. BST on October 7, but that event-wide end time does not prove when every individual offer ended or what the device costs now.
In the UK, T3 reported a promotional price of £32.99 against £69.99, described as 53% off. These are historical promotion prices, not confirmation of an active deal on October 13. Amazon’s current US price, any active coupon, and any post-sale price change are not established by the available reports.

Is it still over 50% off?
That cannot be confirmed from the historical coverage. The cited US promotion was exactly 50% off ($29.99 from $59.99), while the UK offer was reported as 53% off (£32.99 from £69.99). Neither figure establishes today’s price. Check the listing for your country and confirm the exact model: the deal concerned the 2026 Fire TV Stick 4K, not automatically the 4K Select, 4K Plus, or 4K Max.
Some early US coverage noted that a coupon or checkout code might be required for some customers. A price shown in a past article may therefore differ from the price you see at checkout. 9to5Toys reported the launch deal on October 1; Tom’s Guide reported a $29 price on October 6.

When will the price go back up?
No verified source establishes a specific post-sale price or a scheduled time when the Fire TV Stick 4K’s price will rise. The Prime Big Deal Days event ended, but that alone does not show that the device immediately returned to its list price—or that another offer is unavailable. Treat “jumps in price” as unconfirmed unless the live product listing or current offer terms state a price and end time.

Amazon describes the 2026 Fire TV Stick 4K as a streaming device running its Vega operating system, with Alexa+ and the new Fire TV experience. Its stated specifications include 8 GB of internal storage, a quad-core 1.7 GHz processor, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and Bluetooth Low Energy. Amazon lists support for HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG, plus H.265, H.264, VP9, and AV1 video formats. Output resolutions are 2160p, 1080p, and 720p at up to 60 frames per second.

These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results. Amazon also says Direct Power allows the included cable to draw power from a TV’s USB port, which can reduce the number of cables needed; whether it works in a particular setup depends on the TV’s USB port.
Amazon says Vega OS has gained more than 2,000 apps since the first Vega OS Fire TV product. App availability can vary by country, so check that the services you use are supported in your region. How does it fit into Amazon’s Fire TV lineup?
Amazon positions the Fire TV Stick HD as its entry-level option, the Fire TV Stick 4K as its core 4K speed-and-value tier, and the Fire TV Stick 4K Max as the higher-performance choice for gaming and home theater, with more storage and premium features such as Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. This is Amazon’s positioning rather than a controlled, independent comparison. Match the model to your television and intended use, and check the current specifications for the exact model before purchase.

- For basic streaming: The HD model is Amazon’s entry-level option.
- For 4K: The 2026 Stick 4K supports 2160p output and the HDR formats listed above.
- For Amazon’s premium gaming and home-theater tier: The company positions the 4K Max above the Stick 4K, with more storage and Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos features.
What to check before buying
- Confirm the model name. Make sure the listing is for the new Fire TV Stick 4K (2026), not a similarly named Select, Plus, or Max model.
- Check the live price and checkout total. Confirm the price in your country, whether a coupon must be applied, and the final amount before placing the order.
- Verify compatibility with your setup. Check that your TV supports the resolution and HDR formats you want, and review its USB power behavior if you plan to use Direct Power.
- Compare the features you need. Consider resolution, HDR support, Wi-Fi, storage, and whether the higher-tier Max’s advertised features matter for your use.
Remote compatibility and availability
The 2026 Stick 4K ships with Amazon’s redesigned Fire TV Remote. Amazon separately announced a $14.99 US price for the remote, with shipping expected in late October 2026. Amazon says it pairs with Fire TV streaming media players launched from 2019 through the date of its announcement. That is a compatibility claim, not confirmation of current stock or availability; check the specific device and live listing before buying a replacement remote.
