The First Berserker: Khazan is a single-player hardcore action RPG set in the Dungeon & Fighter universe. It launched in March 2025 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Here’s what to know about its story, editions, Japanese physical release and where to find official update information.
What is The First Berserker: Khazan?
Developed by NEOPLE and published by NEXON, The First Berserker: Khazan is set on the continent of Arad, roughly 800 years before Dungeon Fighter Online. It follows Khazan, a general falsely accused of treason and exiled to the snowy mountains. After surviving an incident there, he begins a journey of revenge. SEGA describes the game as a hardcore action RPG centered on strategic combat against varied enemies and bosses. SEGA’s Japanese product page provides the official premise and genre description.

| PS5, Japan | Standard Edition packaged copy is documented. Nexon says the Deluxe Edition is digital-only. | SEGA says it handles manufacture and sales for the Japanese and Asian packaged release. This evidence does not establish worldwide boxed availability. |

For Japan, SEGA lists the packaged PS5 Standard Edition at ¥7,800 before tax or ¥8,580 including tax. Those are Japanese launch prices, not current prices for other regions. Nexon says physical copies are sold through select retailers and identifies SEGA as the domestic packaged-game manufacturer and seller. Details are in the SEGA product information and Nexon Japan announcement.
