The 2026 The Duskbloods Network Test is over. Applications were open from July 22 through July 28, 2026, and the five scheduled test windows ran from August 21 to August 24. You cannot submit a new application or join those sessions now. A future test would require a new announcement from Nintendo and FromSoftware through the official The Duskbloods website or Nintendo channels.
2026 Network Test schedule
Each session was scheduled to last four hours. The first window, on Friday, August 21, was cancelled because of server issues. The remaining sessions were completed.

The schedule and cancellation were reported by Nintendo Life in its August 21, 2026 update. FromSoftware’s original announcement described the planned windows and test format.

The application process was available only during the July 22–28 campaign period. Applications were not guaranteed to succeed; access depended on selection by the campaign.

- Open the official campaign site linked by Nintendo and FromSoftware during the application period.
- Sign in with a Nintendo Account, or link one when prompted.
- Confirm your country or region and submit the application.
- Ensure you have a Nintendo Switch 2 and an active Nintendo Switch Online membership.
- Check the campaign account on August 7 for the selection result.
- If selected, check again on August 18 for the download code.
Those dates applied to the 2026 test only. Because the campaign is closed, the form and its result notices no longer provide a route into the completed sessions.
What you needed to participate
- Nintendo Switch 2: The test build was restricted to Nintendo’s current-generation console.
- Nintendo Switch Online: An active membership was required for online play.
- Linked Nintendo Account: The account handled the application, regional confirmation, selection result and, for selected players, the download code.
- Selection: Meeting the hardware and service requirements did not guarantee an invitation.
Buying a Nintendo Switch 2 by itself could not secure access. Nintendo Switch Online was a service requirement, not a substitute for campaign selection.

What the Network Test was designed to test
FromSoftware described the build as a pre-release version intended to test performance before service begins. The developer said it would run large-scale network-load tests, examine the online systems across different network environments, and collect game-balance data. Matches supported up to eight players.
Because the software was still in development, participants could encounter bugs, connection problems or other unfinished behavior. Test content and balancing could change before the commercial release, so the Network Test was not a final demonstration of the game.

Can you still join The Duskbloods beta?
No. The 2026 applications and every listed session have ended, and no reopening is documented. Ignore pages claiming that the July application form is still active or that an old download code guarantees entry. The only reliable path to another test is a fresh announcement from Nintendo or FromSoftware.

- Watch the official The Duskbloods site and Nintendo news channels for a new campaign period.
- Verify that your Nintendo Account country or region is correct before applying.
- Keep Nintendo Switch 2 system software and the game client updated.
- Maintain Nintendo Switch Online for the entire announced test period.
- Record every local session time, including dates that shift when converted from BST or CEST to North American time zones.
- Check the campaign account for both the selection notice and any separate download-code notice.
If a future schedule is published, confirm the local start time, four-hour duration, eligibility rules, whether selection is random or guaranteed, and whether each window is live, postponed or cancelled.
