TechRadar identified the tested model as the BLUETTI Elite 30 V2, currently reported at $218.98 (usually $299) on Amazon. That is an $80.02 reduction, or roughly 27 percent, although price and stock can change. The 288Wh station is a strong fit for short outages, camping and charging small electronics; its capacity is not intended for long-running refrigerators, power tools or extended off-grid use.

Which BLUETTI power station was tested?
TechRadar’s testing covered the BLUETTI Elite 30 V2 during storm outages, camping trips and a camera-installation job site. The review gave it 4.5 stars and called it “a fantastic compact offering” because of its 600W inverter and the ability to raise output to 1,500W in Power Lift High Demand Mode.
TechRadar also reported using the station to recharge essential devices during several storms, inflate air mattresses and recharge tool batteries on a job site. Those are the reviewer’s experiences, not independent testing for this article.

What can 288Wh realistically run?
Good matches
- Phones, tablets, cameras, lights and other small electronics during a short outage.
- Laptop charging while traveling or working away from mains power.
- An inflatable-mattress pump at a campsite.
- Small job-site accessories, including occasional tool-battery charging.
Where the capacity becomes restrictive
A 288Wh battery has a limited energy reserve once inverter and conversion losses are considered. A refrigerator may start successfully but consume a substantial share of the stored energy as its compressor cycles. A power tool can also fit within the 600W rating in some cases yet drain the battery quickly under sustained load. Power Lift mode helps with certain high-demand devices by changing the output behavior; it does not add battery capacity or make the station suitable for hours of heavy use.

For a full-size refrigerator during a prolonged outage, repeated power-tool operation or several days away from the grid, choose a larger station and calculate the appliance’s running watts, startup surge and expected hours of use before buying.
Elite 30 V2 versus the larger AC180
The official BLUETTI AC180 is the more capable option when capacity and output matter more than compact size or price. Its listed standalone price is $499, with 1,152Wh of capacity, 1,800W output, 11 output ports and four recharge methods.

The AC180’s roughly four-times-larger capacity does not guarantee four times the runtime for every appliance, but it gives considerably more energy headroom. Confirm local availability, included accessories and compatibility before ordering.
How to decide whether the Elite 30 V2 is worth $219
- List the devices you need to power. Separate essential electronics from appliances that can wait.
- Check each device’s running and startup watts. The total continuous load must stay within the station’s 600W inverter rating; startup surges can be higher.
- Estimate energy use. Multiply watts by hours, then allow for conversion losses. Compare the result with 288Wh rather than assuming the full nameplate capacity is available at the outlets.
- Choose the use case. Buy the Elite 30 V2 for portable, short-duration power. Move to a larger model such as the AC180 when runtime, refrigeration or higher continuous output is central to the plan.
- Verify the deal at checkout. The $219 figure came from a dated deal report, so seller, shipping, regional tax, inventory and return terms may differ.
Bottom line
At the reported $218.98/$219 price, the BLUETTI Elite 30 V2 is a compelling compact backup for phones, laptops, camping equipment and occasional small job-site tasks. Its 600W inverter, 1,500W Power Lift mode and 3,000-plus-cycle LiFePO4 rating make it more versatile than a basic low-output battery pack. The decisive limitation is still 288Wh: select it for short, light-duty use, not as a substitute for a larger home-backup battery.
