MSI’s datasheet specifies 2560 × 1440 at up to 240Hz over HDMI and DisplayPort, Adaptive Sync, OLED Care 2.0, console mode, and a three-year warranty that includes panel burn-in. Warranty language is useful only if it applies to your purchase. Confirm the local warranty document, seller, eligibility, and exclusions rather than assuming the datasheet wording applies unchanged in every country or sales channel.

Pick the Alienware if stand adjustment and the observed price suit you
The Dell listing confirms four stand adjustments—height, pivot, swivel, and tilt—and a $349.99 US price at the time checked. Verify the price remains available and that the listed connections meet your computer or console needs before checkout.
Pick the MSI if its stated warranty is the deciding factor
MSI’s datasheet is the source in this comparison that explicitly specifies three years of warranty coverage including panel burn-in. Verify that coverage with the seller and in your region before relying on it.

Check your source device and connection
Both models meet the core 1440p, 240Hz QD-OLED brief. MSI specifies support for that mode over HDMI and DisplayPort; Dell’s cited listing establishes the display specifications and stand adjustments, but not a matching detailed port claim here. Check the monitor’s current port specifications and your device’s output capabilities, then use a connection and cable that support the mode you want.

The specifications and listings establish the main format, refresh rate, observed prices, and selected features, but they do not provide matched independent measurements of these exact models. There is no sound basis here to declare a winner for brightness, HDR, color accuracy, motion handling, VRR flicker, text clarity, or long-term burn-in durability. Do not treat the 0.03ms GTG figure on Dell’s listing as proof of an overall measured motion advantage over MSI.

MSI’s MAG 271QPX also appeared in the available product information as a 360Hz 1440p QD-OLED, but a US price below $500 was not established. It is therefore not a verified under-budget alternative in this guide.
