Tessolve has reportedly raised $75 million from US-based Vector Line Capital, with the funding intended to support growth and strategic acquisitions. The Economic Times, in a PTI report dated October 11, 2026, says the planned acquisitions would add capabilities, broaden Tessolve’s services and expand its global footprint. The report attributes the financing information to a Tessolve statement.
What the $75 million investment is for
Tessolve plans to use the capital for strategic growth, including acquisitions that could add engineering capabilities, expand its service range and strengthen its presence around the world. The Economic Times/PTI report says the company was in advanced discussions to close multiple acquisitions over the next couple of quarters. Those deals were described as a pipeline; the report did not say they had closed.
The report also identifies Vector Line Capital as a strategic investment company focused exclusively on semiconductors and the chip supply chain, and calls this its first investment in India. Tessolve co-founder and CEO Srini Chinamilli described the company’s expansion from silicon test engineering toward designing and productising complete chips for AI infrastructure companies, crediting sustained investment in capabilities, platforms and talent.
What Tessolve does
Tessolve is a business-to-business semiconductor and embedded engineering services firm, rather than a consumer chip or electronics brand. Its official site lists work across custom silicon development, VLSI design, test engineering, PCB design, turnkey development and embedded design. These services can cover multiple stages of developing and validating semiconductor products.
#1 Best Overall
The Economic Times/PTI report describes Tessolve as a Hero Electronix venture founded in 2004. It reports more than 3,500 engineers across 10 countries and nine laboratories, and says Tessolve works with 18 of the world’s top 20 semiconductor companies. Those scale and customer figures are as reported by the newspaper, not independently verified here.
How this round fits Tessolve’s earlier financing
| Announcement | Investor and reported amount | Stated purpose |
|---|---|---|
| April 23, 2021 | Novo Tellus Capital Partners — $40 million | Tessolve said the funding would support acquisitions, growth areas, chip design and ASIC engineering capabilities, and global expansion. |
| September 1, 2025 | TPG — $150 million | TPG said the investment would strengthen global delivery centers, expand advanced test labs and accelerate strategic acquisitions. |
| October 11, 2026 report | Vector Line Capital — $75 million | Growth and strategic acquisitions to add capabilities, broaden services and strengthen global reach. |
The earlier announcements provide context, but they do not establish how the financing rounds relate to one another. The available reports do not specify that the investments used the same instrument or terms, so the amounts should not be added together as a confirmed cumulative funding total.

What is—and is not—known about the deal
The reported $75 million amount is also given as about Rs 725 crore by The Economic Times/PTI. The materials available do not state Tessolve’s valuation, the investment instrument, dilution, Vector Line’s ownership stake, the allocation among investors, or a closing date. The report says the information came from a Tessolve statement; the reviewed company and investor pages document Tessolve’s services and earlier financing, but do not separately announce this Vector Line round.
