The Advinsys TerraMow V600 can take routine mowing off your schedule if you have an established, clearly defined lawn within its recommended 600 m² area and are comfortable checking its map, maintaining its blades, and trimming edges separately. It uses camera-based navigation and app mapping rather than a traditional perimeter wire, but it is not a set-and-forget replacement for every lawn or every part of mowing.
What the TerraMow V600 changes about setup
The V600 uses TerraVision 2.0, a triple-camera AI vision system, to map and navigate without a traditional perimeter wire or RTK/GPS positioning. TerraMow lists automatic AI mapping, 3D obstacle avoidance, Wi-Fi and cellular 4G connectivity, app-based zones, rain detection, automatic recharging, electric cutting-height adjustment, and over-the-air updates as features. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently verified performance guarantees. TerraMow’s V600 specifications and iTWire’s review describe the system.
Place, pair, update, then inspect the map
Set up the base station where the mower can return to it, pair the mower in its app, and allow it to map the grass. T3 found app setup straightforward, but its reviewer needed to install a firmware update before mowing. The mapping is convenient, but it deserves a human check: Eftm found that the first map included a neighboring lawn connected to the reviewer’s grass. Inspect the virtual boundary and edit it wherever adjoining lawns, paths, or other connected turf make the true edge ambiguous. T3’s review and Eftm’s review report these setup experiences.
How much lawn can it mow?
TerraMow recommends the V600 for up to 600 m². Its product page gives a mowing rate of 80–120 m² per hour depending on lawn complexity, 130–250 m² per full charge, a 120-minute duration per full charge, and a 100-minute charging time. These are manufacturer figures; the page does not make them a guarantee for a particular lawn. Layout, complexity, and how much travel the mower needs all matter. TerraMow’s specifications also list a 203 mm cutting width and an adjustable 25–75 mm cutting height.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
One T3 reviewer, John McCann, reported mapping a 113 m² lawn in 17 minutes. On a separate first mowing run on that property, the V600 cut 107.3 m² in 80 minutes before returning to base. These are observations from one lawn, not standardized tests or a prediction of typical results. Eftm reported systematic back-and-forth mowing and mapping three areas around a corner-block home; the reviewer moved the mower manually to another area for spot mowing. That is useful evidence for how one owner handled separate spaces, not proof that the V600 independently travels between every disconnected lawn section. T3 and Eftm describe those individual experiences.
What kind of lawn suits it?
The strongest fit is an established lawn with reasonably continuous, clearly defined grass areas. iTWire cautions that newly laid turf may not be suitable and that strips narrower than the mower’s 20.3 cm deck are a poor match. TerraMow rates the mower for slopes up to 18° (32.5%); this is the manufacturer’s operating limit, not an independent assessment of traction on every soil or grass condition. iTWire’s review discusses lawn suitability.

Prepare the grass before the first run
The V600 trims rather than collects clippings: T3 reports that cut grass is left on the lawn. For best results, start with grass no longer than 9 cm, clear toys and debris, and do not expect a small robot mower to reclaim a neglected, overgrown lawn in one pass. The reviewer also saw successful navigation around flower beds, fences, and a tree, with occasional light contact against a patio pot. T3’s review gives those lawn-specific observations.

The mower can improve some borders with its edge mode, but T3’s reviewer found that it did not cut flush against fences and still recommended a strimmer for a neat finish. iTWire notes that the edge offset is adjustable by up to ±15 cm. The V600 can reduce the amount of routine mowing, but the available reviews do not support treating it as a complete substitute for trimming along walls and fences. T3 and iTWire cover edge behavior.

What maintenance and checks should you expect?
The manufacturer includes a nine-piece blade kit. T3 reports a recommendation to replace blades every eight weeks; treat that as the replacement guidance cited by the reviewer, not a verified universal interval for every lawn or use pattern. Check blade condition regularly and follow the mower’s manual for replacement and handling. TerraMow’s box list and T3’s review describe the included blades and replacement advice.
Eftm reported two occasions when a blade and its screw came off the disc after the mower struck an obstacle. That is one reviewer’s experience, not a measured failure rate. After a hard impact or a stall, stop the mower and check beneath it for loose or missing blades and screws before putting it back to work. Eftm’s review recounts those incidents.

Who should consider the V600?
- Consider it if your lawn is established, clearly bounded, and within TerraMow’s recommended area, and you value automatic routine trimming without laying perimeter wire.
- Think carefully if neighboring lawns connect, your grass has many narrow strips, or you expect perfectly finished fence and wall edges without a strimmer.
- Look elsewhere or keep manual mowing if the lawn is newly laid, routinely grows long before mowing, or you want independently verified results for your exact terrain. The available reviews cover different properties and do not provide controlled head-to-head comparisons.
Advinsys Australia displayed A$1,999.99, a 30-day return period, and a three-year warranty on its product page when accessed on October 7, 2026.
