The TerraMow V600 is a wire-free robotic mower for lawns up to 600 m², with camera-based mapping and app controls. T3 reviewer John McCann found it straightforward to set up and effective at navigating around garden features, but it did not finish fence edges neatly: he still needed a strimmer. It is worth considering if avoiding boundary-wire installation matters more than eliminating every bit of manual lawn work.
What the TerraMow V600 is designed to do
TerraMow recommends the V600 for lawns up to 600 m² (0.15 acre). The company says its TerraVision 2.0 system uses triple-camera AI vision for automatic mapping and obstacle avoidance, so the mower does not need RTK antennas or boundary wires. It also lists Wi-Fi and cellular 4G connectivity, app-based zones and schedules, automatic recharging, rain detection, and over-the-air updates. These are manufacturer specifications and claims, not all independently verified findings. See the TerraMow V600 product page.

How setup and navigation performed
In a review published by T3 on 12 May 2026, contributor John McCann reported that setup was straightforward. In his garden, the V600 mapped and navigated around flower beds, fences, and a tree without guide wires or GPS. He also reported that it recognized the difference between patio and grass. These are observations from one reviewer’s test garden, not a guarantee for every layout. Read the T3 review for his account.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
McCann described the app as offering a lawn visualization, no-go and mowing zones, support for multiple lawns, and schedules. It also let him adjust cut height, edge distance, speed, spacing, disc rotation, and mowing direction. Those controls give owners room to tailor a routine, though the review does not establish how consistently every setting performs across different gardens.
Cut quality, noise, and the edge-trimming limit
McCann reported a clean cut on his lawn and quiet operation. T3’s reviewer reported noise at about 54 dB during testing; TerraMow’s specification, by contrast, lists noise under 54 dB. The figures describe different sources and should not be treated as the same measurement.

The main practical shortcoming was edge reach. McCann found that edge mode improved cutting along patio borders, but the mower did not get up against fences. He still used a strimmer for consistently neat edges. It also leaves fine grass clippings on the lawn rather than collecting them. The mower can reduce routine mowing effort, but the T3 review does not establish a measured time saving against manual mowing.
McCann also reported a light contact with a patio plant pot and a partial recharge during a later cut. Those incidents are specific to his test, but they underline why mapping and obstacles still deserve attention rather than assuming the mower will avoid every object in every garden.

Preparing the lawn and maintaining the mower
T3 advises starting with grass no longer than 9 cm and clearing toys, leaves, debris, and other obstacles for best performance. The review attributes to TerraMow a recommendation to replace the blades every one to two months. That interval makes blade upkeep an ongoing ownership task, not an occasional surprise.
T3 says the reviewed package included six spare blades and describes a single cutting disc carrying three blades. TerraMow’s accessories catalog lists a 15-piece razor blade set for all models, a V600 battery, a V-Series power adapter, an S/V extension cable, a blade disc, a base station, a storage bag, and a cellular traffic package. Catalog listings do not establish that every item is required, locally available, or compatible with every regional V600 variant; check compatibility and stock before ordering.

Who should consider the V600?
- A plausible fit: a homeowner with a lawn within TerraMow’s 600 m² recommendation who values wire-free setup, automatic mapping, and app-managed zones, and is willing to maintain blades and trim edges manually.
- Think carefully if the lawn is very small: the convenience may not justify the purchase price for a simple patch of grass.
- Look at a larger-capacity option if the lawn exceeds the recommendation: T3 describes the V1000 as a same-feature alternative rated for up to 1,200 m². Confirm current specifications and availability directly before choosing.
- Check the site conditions: the published maximum slope is 18° (32.5%), but a specification alone cannot establish how well a particular uneven or complex lawn will be handled.
Price, availability, and ownership terms
On 12 May 2026, T3 reported a UK price of £899 and a US price of $1,199, and said the US model was out of stock at that time. Those are dated reports, not current or evergreen prices. TerraMow’s regional product page uses market-specific storefronts and can show different promotional offers, so check the live listing for your country before deciding.

The product page captured for the review listed a free one-year 1 GB cellular traffic package, but the offer and its regional applicability can change. The same storefront displayed a 30-day return policy, customer support, and a three-year warranty banner; confirm the applicable terms for your market in the current listing. T3 also reported that an AirTag can fit in a slot under the mower and is not included; verify compatibility and regional package details if that matters to you.
What to compare before choosing a robot mower
If the V600’s camera-based, wire-free approach appeals to you, compare alternatives using the things that affect your lawn rather than relying on headline area alone:
- Recommended lawn area and the number of separate zones or layouts supported.
- Whether setup uses camera vision, LiDAR, satellite/GPS mapping, or boundary wire.
- Performance claims for slopes and uneven terrain, plus the cut quality and reach along edges.
- Published coverage per charge, runtime, and charging time, without treating them as a guaranteed schedule.
- Weather protection, app requirements, cellular dependence, warranty and service terms, current local price, and replacement consumables.
T3 names the Sunseeker Elite X4, Husqvarna Automower 405XE NERA, Mammotion LUBA mini 2 AWD 1000, and Mammotion LUBA 2 AWD as alternatives, and discusses differences in navigation and terrain features. Those comparisons are from its review rather than a current verified specification or price table; recheck model details and regional availability before comparing them directly.
