Tecno Spark 50S 5G is scheduled to launch in India on October 16, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. Tecno has shown the phone in Burgundy Red and Breeze Blue with a redesigned, horizontal visor-style rear-camera module. The Indian price, sale channel, memory configuration and full hardware specifications had not been disclosed before launch, so database listings should be treated as expectations rather than confirmed specifications.
India launch date and time
The Spark 50S 5G is set for an Indian launch on October 16, 2026. Launch coverage from Beebom reports a 12:00 PM IST event time. The date and time identify the announcement event; they do not by themselves confirm when retail sales will begin.
What Tecno has confirmed before launch
Colours
Pre-launch images and coverage identify two finishes: Burgundy Red and Breeze Blue. Tecno could add further options or describe the finishes differently at the event, but these are the colours publicly associated with the Indian launch before October 16.

The phone uses a redesigned rear-camera area. Instead of a conventional vertical camera island, the module has a horizontal, visor-like treatment. This is a confirmed design change shown in launch material; the individual camera sensors and their final specifications were not confirmed.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Price, storage and availability
Tecno had not announced the Indian price, RAM and storage combination, processor details, display, cameras, battery, charging system or sale channel before launch. That means there is no reliable launch-day price to quote in advance and no confirmed retailer or first-sale platform to recommend.
Buyers should check Tecno’s Indian announcement and the authorised retailer listing after the October 16 event. A database entry or leaked listing can indicate a likely configuration, but it should not be treated as final until Tecno or an authorised sales page publishes it.

Why the Spark 50 5G comparison is only context
Tecno’s official page for the related Spark 50 5G documents a 6,500mAh battery, 45W Super Charging, MediaTek Dimensity 6400 5G processor, 50MP camera, 120Hz display and IP64 dust-and-water resistance. Those details belong to the Spark 50 5G, not the Spark 50S. They suggest what the new model could resemble, but they do not confirm that the Spark 50S will use the same components or ratings.
What to verify after the announcement
- Indian price: Check the official launch announcement and the authorised listing, including whether the quoted amount is an introductory offer or the regular price.
- Exact configuration: Confirm RAM, internal storage, microSD support and whether India receives one or multiple variants.
- Display details: Verify resolution, panel type, refresh-rate modes and peak brightness rather than relying on the expected 120Hz listing.
- Cameras: Check sensor count, video recording limits and whether the 50MP figure applies to the primary sensor.
- Battery and charging: Confirm capacity, charger-in-the-box policy and the wattage supported by the Indian unit.
- Protection and software: Look for the exact IP rating, Android version, update commitment and security-patch policy.
- Sales channel: Confirm the first-sale date, authorised seller and any launch-only bank or exchange terms.
Bottom line for prospective buyers
The firm information available before launch is the October 16, 2026 Indian debut at a reported 12:00 PM IST, the Burgundy Red and Breeze Blue colours, and the horizontal rear-camera redesign. Everything that determines value—price, configuration, performance hardware, cameras, battery, charging, protection and where to buy—remained unconfirmed. Treat the 91mobiles figures as expected specifications until Tecno publishes the Indian product sheet.
