Tales of Eternia Remastered’s Deluxe Edition bundles the game with the Battle BGM Pack, a Digital Artbook & Soundtrack, and a Super Growth Support Item Set. The Deluxe Upgrade Pack contains those three extras but requires the base game. The soundtrack is delivered as a separate application on Steam, while the Battle BGM Pack is unlocked inside the game through Menu > Items > Other, then configured from Custom.

Battle BGM Pack: what it changes
The Battle BGM Pack changes the music used during standard battles to tracks sourced from previous games in the Tales series. It is a music-selection feature, not a new story or combat mode. You must unlock and enable it after starting the game before the alternate tracks appear in the customization menu.

How to unlock and configure Battle BGM
- Launch Tales of Eternia Remastered.
- Open Menu.
- Select Items, then Other.
- Find the Battle BGM Pack and choose the option to unlock and enable it.
- Open Custom to preview the available tracks and set your battle-music choice.
Bandai Namco gives this route in its official DLC instructions: publisher DLC access page. The Japanese instruction states that, after launching the game, you unlock and activate the pack from Menu > Items > Other, then preview and configure it through Custom.
Digital soundtrack and artbook access
Steam describes the Digital Soundtrack as containing 109 in-game BGM tracks (Bandai Namco Entertainment, 2026). The artbook and soundtrack do not open as a menu inside the game on Steam; Steam states that the Digital Artbook & Soundtrack is a separate application.

Steam steps
- Purchase the Deluxe Edition or redeem the Deluxe Upgrade Pack on the same Steam account that owns the base game.
- Open your Steam Library and locate the separately listed Digital Artbook & Soundtrack application.
- Install and launch that application to view the artbook and play the soundtrack.
If the companion application is missing, check that the Deluxe entitlement is on the account currently signed in, refresh the library, and verify that the purchase was made for the same regional storefront. The live Steam listing is the authority for current delivery details.

These are listed separately from the Deluxe bundle description. The store page does not establish that every individually listed level-up item is included in the Super Growth Support Item Set, so check the purchase screen for your platform and region rather than assuming the seven items are part of Deluxe.

Upgrade Pack will not activate
The Deluxe Upgrade Pack requires the separately sold base game. Confirm that the base game and upgrade are owned on the same platform account, then install any available game update.

DLC is purchased but unavailable in-game
Bandai Namco says DLC access may require an internet-connected console, access to the relevant platform network and the latest patch. Close and restart the game after the entitlement and update are installed, then repeat the Menu > Items > Other activation path.
Soundtrack application is not visible on Steam
Look for a separate library entry rather than an in-game menu. If it still does not appear, verify the Deluxe purchase or redemption account and check the regional Steam product page, because package delivery can differ by storefront.
Which purchase is right for you?
- New player: choose the Deluxe Edition if you want the game plus all three listed Deluxe extras in one purchase.
- Already own the base game: choose the Deluxe Upgrade Pack; buying it without the base game will not provide a playable copy.
- Only want alternate battle music: confirm that your platform offers the Battle BGM Pack through Deluxe Edition or Deluxe Upgrade Pack, as Nintendo’s listing describes it as a Deluxe-only feature.
- Want the soundtrack or artbook: on Steam, plan to install the separate companion application after purchase or redemption.
