Lenovo Idea Tab Pro: prioritize screen size and stated specifications
Lenovo’s US $200–$300 category page lists a 12.7-inch 3K display, MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor, and 8GB RAM for the Idea Tab Pro; Lenovo cautions that price varies by configuration and offers. At the snapshot price of $292.99, it sits close to the budget limit. Those specifications describe the device, but do not by themselves establish how it handles a particular game, workload, or multitasking session.
TechRadar describes a 12.7-inch 120Hz display and 10,200mAh battery, and reports compatibility with Lenovo Tab Pen Plus. Confirm that the specific SKU has the specifications you want and whether a pen or other accessory is actually included; compatibility does not mean inclusion. The evidence available here does not establish a model-specific performance, battery, or comparative advantage, so compare current independent reviews and the exact configuration rather than assuming its price makes it the best compromise.

At the snapshot price of $199.99, the Idea Tab is the lower-priced Lenovo candidate. Confirm that the offer is for the 2023 generation. TechRadar’s cheap-tablet guide

Performance for your workload
Consider the apps you actually use, from browsing and schoolwork to multitasking and demanding games. Lenovo lists a Dimensity 8300 processor and 8GB RAM for the Idea Tab Pro, but those figures alone do not prove a particular real-world result. Look for independent testing of the exact model if sustained performance matters.

Storage, battery, and accessories
- Storage: Check the base storage and whether the exact tablet supports expansion. The available model-specific evidence does not establish these details for all five candidates.
- Battery: Distinguish a manufacturer’s “up to” claim from an independent test. Battery capacity alone does not predict runtime across tablets with different screens and software.
- Accessories: Check package contents and compatibility separately. TechRadar reports Idea Tab Pro compatibility with Lenovo Tab Pen Plus; Lenovo says some tablets support styluses and detachable keyboards, but neither statement means an accessory is included with every SKU. TechRadar · Lenovo
Does an iPad fit a $300 limit?
Not at the listed asking price in TechRadar’s cited coverage: Apple’s 2025 11-inch iPad is listed at $349, so it is outside a strict $300 budget unless a verified sale brings it below the ceiling. TechRadar lists a 10.9-inch display, A16 processor, storage starting at 128GB, and up to 10 hours of battery life as a stated claim. Treat it as a sale-only alternative, not one of the five under-$300 picks. TechRadar’s cheap-tablet guide
