Short answer: A Windows PC with 64-bit Windows 10 version 21H1 (build 19043) or newer, an x64 processor with SSE2 support, 8 GB of RAM, a DirectX 11 graphics processor with 2 GB of VRAM, DirectX 11, and at least 2 GB of free storage meets Tabletop TD’s published minimum specification. The full game is planned for November 2026 and is not yet available as a complete Steam release as of 18 October 2026.
Meeting those figures means your computer matches the developer’s stated baseline. It does not yet prove a particular frame rate, resolution, graphics preset, or streaming experience because complete recommended specifications and performance targets have not been published.

These are minimums, not a promise of “high” settings or 60 frames per second. A computer can satisfy every row and still need reduced resolution or detail once the game is released.

What Tabletop TD is and when you can play it
Full game status
Steam describes Tabletop TD as a tabletop-themed tower-defense game developed by hummmmmmm and published by Leveritt Studio. You spend coins to draw random towers, merge towers into later eras, and defend against 30 waves. After the standard run, Endless mode extends the session. The game supports solo play and online co-op for up to four players.
The Steam store lists the full release for November 2026. SteamDB identifies the Windows application with app ID 5154200. Because the release is still pending, there are no dependable player benchmarks, launch-day driver results, or tested graphics presets to use as a substitute for the missing recommended specification.
Free demo
A separate free Tabletop TD Demo released on 8 October 2026. SteamDB lists Unity technology and both single-player and online-co-op categories for the demo. Demo behavior can help you test whether your current Windows installation launches it, but it should not be treated as a guarantee for the final build: release content, optimization, and system requirements can change.

How to check whether your PC meets each requirement
Check the requirements in the same order the game lists them. Record the result for each item rather than judging the PC by its CPU or graphics card alone.

Confirm Windows edition, version, and architecture
Press Windows key+R, type
winver, and press Enter. The dialog shows your Windows version and build. The required baseline is Windows 10 version 21H1/build 19043 or newer. Windows 11 is newer and qualifies by version.To verify 64-bit status, open Settings > System > About and read System type. It should say a 64-bit operating system and an x64-based processor. A 32-bit edition of Windows fails the listed requirement even if the hardware itself is capable of running 64-bit software.

Identify the processor and SSE2 support
In Settings > System > About, note the processor model. You can also press Ctrl+Shift+Esc, choose Performance, and select CPU. The Steam listing requires an x64 processor with SSE2 instruction support but does not name a model cutoff.

Windows’ normal Settings pages do not provide a reliable SSE2 yes/no field. Do not infer compliance from GHz, core count, or the Intel/AMD name alone; the instruction-set requirement is the relevant check.

Check installed RAM
Open Settings > System > About and read Installed RAM, or open Task Manager > Performance > Memory. You need at least 8 GB installed. “Available” memory in Task Manager is not the same as installed capacity: Windows and background applications use part of the total.
If your computer has exactly 8 GB, the game still meets the published baseline, but leaving other applications open may increase paging or reduce headroom. Closing browsers, launchers, recording tools, and overlays is a practical way to reduce competing memory use.

Verify DirectX 11 and graphics memory
Press Windows key+R, enter

The listing does not clarify a minimum GPU model, shader level, or whether a particular shared-memory configuration is acceptable. Integrated graphics may report shared system memory rather than 2 GB of dedicated VRAM, so treat an ambiguous memory figure as uncertain instead of automatically passing it. Check the GPU manufacturer’s specifications and keep its Windows driver current.

Measure free storage on the installation drive
Open File Explorer > This PC and inspect the drive where Steam installs games. At least 2 GB must be free according to the Steam listing. That number is a floor, not a sensible amount to leave on a nearly full drive; Steam may need temporary space for downloading, unpacking, patching, and updating the game.
How to interpret your result

What the published requirements do not tell you
No complete recommended specification
The Steam page displays a “Recommended” heading, but the current listing does not provide complete recommended CPU, RAM, GPU, or storage values. There is therefore no authoritative hardware tier for a particular resolution, graphics preset, or refresh rate.
No verified frame-rate target
No source currently supplies a measured frame rate, benchmark scene, or 60-FPS target. It would be misleading to promise smooth 1080p play simply because a PC clears the minimum. Tower-defense scenes can vary with wave size, effects, co-op activity, and later-era tower combinations, so the final build must be tested before those claims are possible.
Platform support beyond Windows is unconfirmed
The available listing identifies Windows as the supported system. There is no confirmed full-game support for Steam Deck, Linux, or macOS. Do not assume that a compatibility layer or the demo’s behavior establishes official support for the final release.

Upgrade advice for PCs below minimum
Less than 8 GB of RAM
Memory is the clearest numerical shortfall because the requirement is explicit. Check whether your desktop or laptop has an open slot and whether the existing modules can be replaced or paired. Match the system’s supported memory type and capacity; installing an incompatible module will not make the game compliant.
Less than 2 GB of usable graphics memory
A graphics upgrade is only useful if the replacement exposes DirectX 11 and at least 2 GB of VRAM. Desktop cards are generally replaceable, while many laptops have soldered graphics hardware and cannot be upgraded in the same way. Confirm the power-supply capacity, case clearance, display connectors, and driver support before buying any card.
Unsupported Windows version or 32-bit installation
Install current Windows updates and recheck the version/build. If the installation itself is 32-bit, moving to 64-bit Windows is a reinstall or supported migration task, not a simple toggle. Back up files and verify that the processor, drivers, and applications support the new installation before proceeding.

Free space on the actual Steam library drive, not merely on another disk. Remove unneeded files or move existing games, then leave additional headroom for updates. The stated 2 GB is the game’s listed minimum available space, not a recommendation to operate a drive with only 2 GB remaining.
Launch-day troubleshooting checklist
If the full release does not start or behaves unexpectedly, work from the basic compatibility checks before changing advanced settings.
- Run
winverand confirm Windows 10 build 19043 or newer, or Windows 11, with a 64-bit installation. - Run
dxdiagand confirm that the active GPU and driver expose DirectX 11. - Install the latest stable graphics driver offered for the exact GPU model, then restart Windows.
- Confirm at least 2 GB of free space on the Steam library drive, with extra room for patching.
- Close overlays, browsers, recording software, and other memory-heavy programs while testing an 8 GB system.
- In Steam, open Library, right-click Tabletop TD, choose Properties > Installed Files, and select Verify integrity of game files if an installation appears damaged.
- If an error specifically cites SSE2 or an unsupported processor, recheck the CPU model against the manufacturer’s instruction-set documentation. The Steam page does not publish a model list that can override that check.
Keep screenshots or notes of the exact error, Windows build, GPU model, and driver version. Those details are more useful for support than a general statement that the PC is “fast enough.”
