Table V01 is a free Bootstrap table template from Colorlib, with preview and download options. Colorlib describes it as mobile-compatible, but its page does not establish that the template includes interactive sorting, searching, pagination, or remote-data loading. Those functions belong to a separate library, Bootstrap Table.
What Table V01 is—and what it does not establish
Colorlib presents Table V01 as a flexible, mobile-compatible Bootstrap table template for different uses. Its page provides a preview and download. The page names Rok Krivec as author and includes two distinct date signals: a page date of January 21, 2021, and a separate “Released: 2025” field. It does not explain how those dates relate, so neither should be treated as a correction of the other. View the Table V01 page and its preview/download options.
Colorlib lists the template under CC BY 3.0. The page does not document built-in sorting, filtering, pagination, or remote data. If your project needs those behaviors, assess a table library separately rather than assuming they come with the visual template.
Choose between a visual template and interactive table behavior
The practical choice depends on what the table must do. A static table with project-specific styling may need only the template and the files supplied with it. Interactive controls or data fetched from a URL call for additional implementation.
#1 Best Overall
- Styling only: Start with the Colorlib download and follow its included files and instructions. Confirm that the supplied markup and styles fit your project.
- Search, sorting, or pagination: Bootstrap Table documents these as plugin options. Its official usage documentation shows initialization through HTML data attributes and options for pagination, search, and sortable columns.
- Rows loaded from a URL: Bootstrap Table documents remote URL data as a separate usage pattern. Check its current setup instructions and dependencies before integrating it.
Read the Bootstrap Table introduction and review its table options. The introduction currently displays version 1.27.3; verify the version and instructions at implementation time because they can change. Bootstrap Table is a separate library, not a feature established by Colorlib’s template page.
Responsive layout and small-screen behavior
Colorlib describes Table V01 as mobile-compatible, but the available page does not report independent testing or explain the exact small-screen behavior. Check the actual table with your own content and target devices, especially if columns are wide or cells contain controls.
Rank #2
Bootstrap 5 offers an opt-in responsive table wrapper. Its documentation shows the `.table` class for table styling and `.table-responsive` around a table that may need horizontal scrolling. The wrapper can clip content that extends vertically beyond the table, such as dropdown menus and third-party widgets, so test those controls before shipping. See Bootstrap’s table styling and responsive-wrapper guidance.

Setup notes for Bootstrap Table
The following points apply to integrating the Bootstrap Table plugin; they are not guaranteed instructions for every version of Colorlib’s downloadable template. Use the template’s own files and directions when starting from that download.
Rank #3
- The plugin introduction recommends a Bootstrap 5 setup and provides CSS and JavaScript snippets.
- Its example places the plugin stylesheet before other stylesheets and loads jQuery before Bootstrap and the plugin scripts.
- For responsive behavior, the introduction calls for an HTML5 doctype and viewport metadata.
Use the current official introduction for the exact snippets and dependency order rather than copying an old setup from another project. The library’s distribution is also distinct from the Colorlib template download: Bootstrap Table’s contents page says its source download includes compiled CSS and JavaScript, locales, extensions, and documentation. See the Bootstrap Table documentation contents.

Colorlib lists Table V01 as CC BY 3.0. Bootstrap Table has a separate MIT license; its license FAQ says to retain license and copyright notices in its CSS and JavaScript. If you combine the template with the plugin, review the terms for each component and keep the relevant notices when redistributing assets. Read Bootstrap Table’s license FAQ.
