T-Mobile Home Internet’s advertised monthly price is not automatically your final bill. The offer can depend on your service address, plan, AutoPay, qualifying T-Mobile voice line and account eligibility; taxes, fees and a one-time device connection charge may also apply. As of the current T-Mobile plan pages, the advertised offers include Rely at $35 per month, Home Internet Plus at $50 per month, and Home Internet Backup at $20 per month. Check your exact address and order summary before signing up.

How much does T-Mobile Home Internet cost per month?

T-Mobile’s current plan pages describe these advertised offers. They are conditional prices, not universal rates, and availability varies by address.

Plan Advertised monthly price and conditions What the plan includes
Rely Home Internet $35 per month with AutoPay and any T-Mobile voice line for qualifying accounts. T-Mobile’s disclosure material describes $60 per month before AutoPay or other discounts. Taxes and fees are included for qualifying accounts, according to the plan FAQ. Unlimited data and a 5G gateway. See the speed disclosures below for the plan’s stated typical ranges.
Home Internet Plus $50 per month with AutoPay and a qualifying premium voice line. The page describes a $20 monthly credit for qualifying new lines; taxes and fees apply for some accounts. The credit can stop if qualifying lines are canceled or plans changed. High-performance gateway, one Wi-Fi mesh access point and 24/7 interactive video support. Additional mesh units are available.
Home Internet Backup $20 per month with AutoPay, plus taxes and fees. Gateway included; no annual service contract or equipment fees. A T-Mobile voice line is not required.

See T-Mobile’s 5G Home Internet plan page, Home Internet Plus page and Backup Internet page for the offer terms. Confirm the price available to your account and location rather than assuming an advertised offer applies to you.

What fees or conditions can change the total?

AutoPay and qualifying voice lines

Some advertised prices require AutoPay and a qualifying T-Mobile voice line. The Plus offer specifies a qualifying premium voice line and a new internet line for its stated offer. Check the requirements on the offer shown to your account; changing or canceling a qualifying line can affect promotional credits.

One-time connection charge and monthly charges

T-Mobile lists a $35 device connection charge in terms surfaced for these offers. Taxes, Regulatory Programs and Telco Recovery Fees vary by plan and account; some accounts may have taxes and fees in addition to the advertised amount. Check the current order summary and terms for the amounts that apply instead of relying on a fee estimate from another customer or an older page.

Gateway return

The gateway is provided for use at the activated service address. T-Mobile says it must be returned undamaged when required; otherwise, the charge may be up to $370. The return requirement is in the eligibility and terms page.

Promotional credits and price guarantee

Some promotional credits may take up to two billing cycles to appear. T-Mobile says credits can stop if a qualifying line is canceled or a plan is changed. Its five-year price guarantee applies to eligible plan pricing, not every possible bill component: stated exclusions include taxes and fees, voluntary equipment or speed upgrades, future wireless generations, select limited-time promotions, per-use charges, third-party services and network management practices. The guarantee begins on activation or a switch to an eligible plan and does not restart after later plan or line changes. Read the current terms for the specific plan before treating the guarantee as a fixed total-bill promise.

Is T-Mobile Home Internet available at your address?

Not everywhere. T-Mobile says its home internet service is unavailable in some areas, and eligibility is address-specific. Use the official eligibility checker with the exact service address. What speeds should you expect?

T-Mobile’s plan FAQ reports typical Rely download speeds of 170–354 Mbps and typical upload speeds of 12–55 Mbps. For Amplified or All-In, it reports typical downloads of 170–498 Mbps and typical uploads of 12–55 Mbps. Those are provider-stated typical ranges, not guaranteed speeds: T-Mobile says performance varies with location, time of day, signal strength, availability and other factors, and that a quarter of customers may fall below the stated ranges while a quarter may exceed them.

Rely’s Broadband Facts disclosure on the plan page gives a different typical download range: 133–354 Mbps, with 12–55 Mbps typical upload and 16–28 ms typical latency. Keep that disclosure distinct from the plan FAQ range rather than blending them into a single figure. These figures are T-Mobile disclosures, not independent measurements. Details are on the plan page.

“Unlimited data” does not mean an unchanged speed in every circumstance. T-Mobile’s surfaced terms say customers may experience lower speeds during congestion and further reduction after more than 1.2 TB in a month due to data prioritization. The terms also reserve the right to slow, suspend, terminate or restrict service in cases such as misuse or interference.

How should you compare the price with cable or fiber?

T-Mobile says it cannot directly compare its 5G Home Internet speeds with providers such as Xfinity, Spectrum, Comcast or Cox, and advises customers to check their current speeds. There is no universal head-to-head winner established by the provider’s material. Compare offers available at your own address using the details that affect both value and suitability:

  • Availability: Confirm that each provider can serve the exact address.
  • Typical performance: Compare typical download and upload speeds, not just advertised maximums. If video calls, gaming or remote access matter, consider latency as well.
  • Total cost over time: Include taxes and monthly fees, equipment charges, one-time charges and any discounts that expire or require a qualifying line.
  • Terms and flexibility: Check contract or cancellation obligations, equipment return requirements, and what happens to promotional credits if you change service.
  • Wireless variability: For 5G home internet, signal and congestion can affect results. A provider’s typical range is not a promise of the speed at your home.

Does Home Internet Plus’s mesh access point justify its price?

Plus includes one mesh access point alongside its gateway and 24/7 interactive video support. T-Mobile describes mesh as useful in larger homes or layouts where the signal has difficulty reaching rooms. That inclusion may matter if you need broader in-home coverage, but it does not establish that every home needs mesh or that an additional unit will improve every connection. Assess coverage in your home and verify compatibility before buying separate mesh hardware; T-Mobile’s material does not establish universal compatibility for third-party devices.

What should you check before ordering?

  1. Enter the exact service address in T-Mobile’s eligibility checker and confirm which plans are offered there.
  2. Check the conditions attached to the displayed monthly price, including AutoPay, voice-line eligibility, account qualification and any promotional credit.
  3. Read the order summary for the one-time connection charge, applicable taxes and fees, and the recurring amount after discounts.
  4. Review the current gateway return requirements, speed disclosures, network-management terms and any price-guarantee exclusions.
  5. Compare the resulting total and terms with other services actually available at that address.

T-Mobile describes Home Internet as having no annual contract and promotes a 15-day test period subject to new-line eligibility and timely gateway return. Check the terms attached to your specific offer before relying on the trial period.
