Nintendo sells standard and OLED Nintendo Switch docks separately, but the official US listings available for this article do not show a current price or stock status. Check the live Nintendo Store dock listings before buying. Also account for the AC adapter and HDMI cable: Nintendo’s dock-only listings say neither is included.
How much does a Switch dock cost?
There is no verified current US dollar amount to quote from Nintendo’s indexed product listings. Check the live Nintendo Store pages for the standard and OLED docks, and confirm both price and availability before placing an order. The dock-only products are intended to replace a dock or add a second TV location; they are not complete setups if you still need an AC adapter or HDMI cable.
For context, Nintendo Japan listed a Switch dock for ¥6,578 including tax when accessed in 2026. That is a Japan-specific price, not a US price, and should not be converted into an implied US cost. Nintendo Japan’s listing
Which Switch dock should you buy?
Nintendo identifies the standard dock as model HAC-007 and the LAN-port dock as HEG-007. Compare the model and ports with your console and intended setup rather than assuming the two versions are identical.

Nintendo’s dock compatibility guidance explains the model and software requirements. The Switch Lite does not support TV mode, so a dock will not enable TV output.
What else affects the total cost?
- AC adapter and HDMI cable: Nintendo says these are not included with its dock-only listings. If you do not already own compatible accessories, include them when calculating the cost of a usable setup.
- New or refurbished condition: Nintendo also lists refurbished docks on its US store pages. The cited listing says refurbished units are inspected, restored, and verified functional; minor cosmetic blemishes are possible, and the listing includes a 90-day limited warranty. Check the live price and stock because both may change.
- Replacement versus a second TV location: Nintendo presents its dock-only product as a way to replace a dock or set up another TV location. If you are adding a location, check whether you can move the AC adapter and HDMI cable or need extras there too.

Nintendo’s general accessory guidance says it can provide service only for accessories made by Nintendo, and physically damaged accessories are not covered by its warranty and need to be purchased as replacements. That guidance does not give a dock-specific repair fee or current replacement price. How to check the price and confirm the listing
- Open Nintendo’s official US Store dock listings and check the current price and stock for the standard and OLED options.
- Match the listing to the dock you need: HAC-007 for the standard layout or HEG-007 for a built-in LAN port.
- Verify compatibility. For the LAN-port dock, Nintendo specifies system software 11.0.0 or later for Switch and OLED systems. Do not buy a dock for a Switch Lite.
- Read the listing contents and add an AC adapter or HDMI cable only if you do not already have them.
- If choosing refurbished, review the current listing details, including its condition notes and 90-day limited warranty.
