The SupaSwift 777AMC is a 460 mm (18-inch) petrol push mower with a 139 cc Loncin engine, a grass catcher and a mulch plug. SupaSwift positions the 777 series for small-to-medium gardens. Its listed domestic warranty is two years, and the manufacturer’s current listed price is A$499 including GST. Whether it suits your lawn depends on more than those headline specifications: its weight, the unresolved cutting-height setting count and the limited public independent test results all deserve attention.
What is the SupaSwift 777AMC?
The 777AMC is a conventional walk-behind push mower: it is petrol-powered, has no self-propulsion listed, and gives you the choice of collecting clippings or using a mulch plug. SupaSwift describes the 777 series as intended for “small to medium sized gardens.” That is the manufacturer’s intended-use description, not a measured limit on lawn area.
The manufacturer’s product page identifies the model as SSU777AMC and lists a pressed-steel chassis, four swing-back blades and a one-piece lower handle. The engine is described as a 139 cc Loncin vertical-shaft, air-cooled, single-cylinder, OHV, normally aspirated four-stroke unit that uses unleaded petrol and has a dual-element air filter. These are published specifications, not a report of hands-on performance. See SupaSwift’s 777AMC product listing.

Check the cutting-height adjustment before buying
SupaSwift’s product information is inconsistent about the number of cutting positions. Its feature text says 15-position steel height adjustment, while its specification table says 10 cutting positions; a dealer listing also says 10. The available listings do not resolve the discrepancy. Ask the seller to confirm the adjustment range and number of positions on the exact mower you will receive rather than relying on a single count.

How well does it cut?
The published specifications establish that the mower has four swing-back blades, a 460 mm cut, a catcher and a mulch plug. They do not establish how evenly it cuts, how well it collects clippings, how much vibration or noise it produces, or how easy it is to push. Those are performance questions that the available public evidence does not answer.
CHOICE has a review record for the mower, but the page labels its test year “Pre 2019.” Its public listing gives a 45 cm cut width and a 30 kg weight, alongside other older specifications; the expert rating, recommendation and detailed results—including cutting, ease of use, vibration, pushing, controls, catcher and noise—are restricted to members. The page is useful evidence that a test record exists, but not a basis for claiming the mower performed well or poorly. Its figures should not be treated as directly comparable measurements to the current manufacturer listing, which states 460 mm and 36 kg dry weight. View CHOICE’s public 777AMC record.

Does it suit your lawn?
It may be a fit if
- You want a petrol push mower rather than a self-propelled machine.
- You value having both a catcher and a mulch plug, so you can choose between collecting clippings and mulching.
- Your garden falls within the manufacturer’s broad small-to-medium description and you are comfortable operating a 36 kg dry mower.
- You can confirm the cutting-height adjustment and warranty terms with a local seller before purchase.
Consider another option if
- You need self-propulsion or have slopes and terrain that make pushing a heavy mower difficult; the listed configuration is a push mower, and the manufacturer reports 36 kg dry weight.
- You require commercial or hire/rental coverage: SupaSwift lists no commercial warranty and no hire/rental warranty.
- You need independently visible, current comparative test results before choosing. The accessible CHOICE information does not disclose the mower’s scores.
Price, availability and warranty
SupaSwift lists the mower at A$499 including GST and directs buyers to local dealers to check stock. Australian dealer Nowa Power Products lists it at A$479. These are separate page listings, not a guaranteed selling price or confirmation of availability in your area; check the price and stock with the seller. SupaSwift says its network includes more than 50 dealers across Australia, a company-published count rather than an independently audited figure. The manufacturer’s current listing states a two-year domestic warranty, with no commercial or hire/rental warranty. CHOICE’s older public record displays two years for the mower and three years for the engine. Because the published terms differ and the full warranty document has not been verified here, confirm the coverage for the exact mower and engine with the seller before purchase. CHOICE also gives an RRP of A$489 at the time of its pre-2019 test; that historical figure is not a current price.

Replacement parts and ownership checks
A 2023 parts list includes the SSU777AMC among the 777-series models. It identifies four swing blades, a plastic catcher assembly, a mulch plug and an LC1P61 engine reference for the SSU777AMC serial grouping. The list is a useful starting point for identifying parts, but it does not confirm current stock, retail availability, or fitment across every production year.
