Street Fighter’s upcoming 4K home-video release is listed in two Amazon-exclusive SteelBook variants in the United States: Select Your Champion and Select Your Villain. Both U.S. listings describe the same bundle—4K UHD, Blu-ray and a digital copy—but the U.S. release date had not been announced as of October 16, 2026. A separate French report gives February 11, 2027 for that market’s limited SteelBook, which should not be treated as the confirmed American date.
What is available to preorder
The current U.S. release-date listings identify two products: Street Fighter Select Your Champion (Amazon Exclusive Steelbook) and Street Fighter Select Your Villain (Amazon Exclusive Steelbook). Each is presented as a preorder containing one 4K UHD disc, one Blu-ray disc and a digital copy. Amazon availability, pricing, artwork and delivery estimates can change before release.
A standard 4K edition is listed separately. The product identifiers reported for the three editions are:
| Edition | Format listed | UPC | U.S. date |
|---|---|---|---|
| Select Your Champion (Amazon Exclusive Steelbook) | 4K UHD + Blu-ray + Digital Copy | 843501685556 | Not announced as of October 16, 2026 |
| Select Your Villain (Amazon Exclusive Steelbook) | 4K UHD + Blu-ray + Digital Copy | 843501685549 | Not announced as of October 16, 2026 |
| Standard 4K edition | 4K listing; bundle details beyond the listing are not stated | 843501685532 | Not announced as of October 16, 2026 |
Champion versus Villain: what actually differs
The available evidence points to a packaging choice rather than separate versions of the movie. No consulted listing or report identifies a different cut, running time, disc encode or bonus package for either SteelBook.

Release timing: United States versus France
United States
The U.S. listings were still showing no announced release date when checked on October 16, 2026. A preorder page can exist before a distributor posts a firm street date, so the listing should be rechecked for changes to date, price, stock and final packaging.

Kitao Sakurai is credited as director and Ken Seng as cinematographer in the home-video report. The film was shot digitally with Arri Alexa 35 and Arri Alexa Mini LF cameras certified for IMAX. Those capture details explain the production’s large-format ambitions, but they do not by themselves confirm the final disc’s HDR format, audio tracks or picture settings.

How to decide whether to preorder
- Pick the artwork. The variant distinction currently established is the exterior design, with the Villain character lineup coming from a commenter’s description rather than a finalized technical announcement.
- Verify the market. Make sure the page is the U.S. Amazon Exclusive listing if you need a U.S. digital copy or delivery estimate.
- Check the date and price immediately before ordering. Neither is fixed in the U.S. information available on October 16, 2026.
- Wait for specifications if they matter to you. Collectors who require a particular HDR or audio format should wait for the distributor’s technical details instead of inferring them from the camera package.
