Street Fighter (2026) is a new live-action reboot made by Capcom with Legendary and distributed by Paramount. It is not a continuation of the 1994 film. Paramount’s official synopsis places the story in 1993: “Set in 1993, estranged Street Fighters Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) are thrown back into combat when the mysterious Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament.”

Neither film should be assumed to share continuity with the other merely because both are live action. If a listing, review, or social post says only “the Street Fighter movie,” use the year to identify which production it means.
