Sort Them Ducks has 20 Steam achievements, covering sorting milestones, upgrades, abilities, collection completion, and two demanding run challenges. Steam lists conditions for most of them, but six entries have blank descriptions on its achievement page; details for those are reported by a third-party checklist, not confirmed by Steam.
How the achievement list is documented
Sort Them Ducks is a single-player PC game on Steam, developed by Mr.Duck and published by Sandouq Studio. Its store listing gives an August 13, 2026 release date and describes a loop of picking up rubber ducks and placing them on matching shelves. It advertises more than 4,000 unique ducks and upgradeable abilities. Steam’s store listing is the platform source for those game details.
Steam’s Global Achievements page lists 20 achievements and displays conditions for many of them. Six entries have blank descriptions there. The Steam achievement page is the source for the visible conditions and total; a third-party achievement checklist reports steps for the blank entries. Treat those steps as community-documented rather than official Steam instructions, and verify them in-game if a trigger does not work as described.

These goals track ordinary play: placing ducks correctly, earning money, sorting set numbers, and completing a shelf category. Steam displays their conditions.

Upgrades, abilities, and the slot machine
Several achievements ask for focused use of the game’s tools or completion of its upgrade systems. Steam’s listed conditions include:
- Efficiency Expert: collect 15 ducks with one ability use.
- Maxed Out: maximize upgrades.
- Duck Whisperer: use Find Duck 50 times.
- Jackpot!: obtain every slot-machine upgrade.
These can be treated as a cleanup group: work toward upgrades and ability-use counts while progressing through normal sorting, then check the Steam achievement page for the exact condition text if the in-game wording is unclear.

Full collection and community-reported hidden conditions
Steam confirms an achievement for sorting every duck. The six blank-description entries on its Global Achievements page are different: Steam does not show their conditions there. A third-party checklist reports hidden steps involving a bomb trigger, interacting with the cash register, eggs and hatching, duck duplication, and large copy counts. Those are community-reported conditions, not official Steam descriptions; the checklist is the source for the specific reported steps.
Keep the distinction in mind if an achievement fails to unlock. A shelf or collection milestone may be platform-confirmed, while a condition inferred from a blank entry relies on third-party documentation. Steam’s page and the third-party checklist let you compare what each source actually documents.

Plan the two challenge achievements as separate runs
Steam lists two distinct run constraints:
- No Time to Waddle: complete the game in under four hours.
- I Don’t Do Buttons: finish without pressing an active ability.
Plan for separate attempts. The speed condition favors using active abilities to move faster, whereas the no-ability condition rules them out. That separation is a route-planning inference from Steam’s two conditions, not a claim that a particular route has been tested. - Play normally first. Build progress toward correct placements, money, sorting milestones, and a full category.
- Combine upgrade and ability goals where practical. Work on maximizing upgrades, using Find Duck, collecting ducks with one ability activation, and obtaining slot-machine upgrades during your broader progression.
- Finish collection and investigate blank entries. Use Steam’s visible condition for the all-ducks achievement. For the six blank entries, consult the community checklist while keeping its reported status clear.
- Make a dedicated speed attempt. Track the under-four-hour limit and use abilities as needed for speed.
- Make a separate no-active-ability attempt. Avoid pressing active abilities for the entire run.
