Three Sony-published PlayStation games—God of War 3 Remastered, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Knack 2—temporarily disappeared from the North American PlayStation Store in October 2026. The listings were back by October 14, so this was a regional storefront outage or delisting episode, not a confirmed permanent removal.
Which Sony games disappeared?
The affected listings named in the report were:
| Game | What happened in North America | Status by October 14, 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| God of War 3 Remastered | Unavailable for purchase for several days | Listing reinstated |
| Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection | Unavailable for purchase for several days | Listing reinstated |
| Knack 2 | Unavailable for purchase for several days | Listing reinstated |
The incident was reported for the US and wider North American storefront. The same games remained visible in the UK, which indicates that the problem was regional rather than a confirmed worldwide delisting.

Did Sony permanently delist these games?
No. Push Square reported at 5:45 p.m. on October 14 that all three listings had returned to the US/North American store. That restoration means customers could once again find the product pages instead of facing the temporary purchase unavailability reported over the preceding days.
A return to the storefront does not establish why the listings vanished. Sony had not publicly confirmed a reason for this particular incident.

Was it a pricing error or a bug?
The leading explanation in the report was a pricing error or another PlayStation Store software problem. That explanation remains unconfirmed: there was no Sony statement identifying the root cause. The regional pattern and the later restoration are consistent with a catalog or pricing issue, but they do not prove one.
This distinction matters because a planned retirement normally comes with a clear product or support announcement. In this case, the evidence confirms disappearance and reinstatement, not an announced end of sales.

Can existing owners still play and download the games?
Yes. Existing owners retained access while the listings were absent. They could continue playing their licenses and redownload the games. Push Square assistant editor Stephen Tailby summarized the situation: “Anybody who owns the affected software can still play and download them, so no worries on that front.”

The outage affected storefront visibility and purchasing, not the account licenses already attached to customers’ PlayStation accounts. If you already bought one of these games digitally, use the console’s game library and your account’s purchased-games list rather than searching the store listing.

What this means for people who had not bought them
North American buyers
Because the listings were restored by October 14, North American users can check the store again and purchase the games if the product pages are available in their account region. Store availability can differ by country, account region and platform, so a listing visible in one market is not proof that every market has it.
UK and other regions
The report specifically noted that the UK listings remained visible during the North American outage. That makes this different from a confirmed global delisting. It also means that seeing the games in a non-US store during the incident was expected, not evidence that the US listings had never disappeared.

Digital ownership versus a disc
This episode highlights the practical difference between formats without establishing any particular resale value. A digital purchase depends on the account license and the platform’s ability to authenticate and redownload that license; existing owners kept those capabilities here even when the public product pages were missing. A physical copy does not depend on the store listing for installation from the disc, although console compatibility, required updates and the condition of the disc still matter.
The report provides no verified used-market prices or collector-value measurements, so claims about discs becoming more valuable would be speculation. The confirmed takeaway is narrower: current owners were protected from this temporary storefront outage, while new digital purchases were briefly unavailable in North America.

- Confirmed: Their UK listings remained present during the reported outage.
- Confirmed: All three were reported reinstated by October 14, 2026.
- Confirmed: Existing owners could keep playing and downloading them.
- Not confirmed: Whether a pricing error, software bug or another catalog issue caused the disappearance; Sony had not announced the cause.
