Most Solos AirGo V2 pairing failures are caused by the glasses not actually being in pairing mode, an old phone record still being stored, or the app being opened before the phone has completed Bluetooth pairing. Hold the multifunction button for about five seconds until the LED flashes red and blue and you hear “Pairing,” then select Solos AirGo in your phone’s Bluetooth settings while the glasses are beside the phone. If that fails, forget the old Bluetooth entry, clear the glasses’ stored host list with an eight-second hold, and use the documented ten-second reset and clean-repair sequence.
What the correct AirGo V2 pairing state looks like
The AirGo V2 should be paired from the phone or tablet’s own Bluetooth settings before you rely on the Solos AirGo app. The FCC-hosted AirGo manual describes a specific sequence and two visible or audible confirmations:
- Hold the multifunction (or virtual) button for approximately five seconds.
- The LED flashes red and blue.
- A voice prompt says “Pairing.”
- With Bluetooth enabled on the phone, Solos AirGo appears in the available-device list.
- After a successful connection, the LED changes to blue.
A short press, a hold that is too brief, or selecting the glasses before the red/blue indication appears can leave the device powered on without making it discoverable. Keep the glasses immediately beside the phone during discovery; pairing is a setup operation, not a test to perform from across a room.

Pair Solos AirGo V2 from scratch
1. Prepare both devices
- Charge the glasses enough to remain powered during setup.
- Place the glasses beside the phone or tablet.
- Open the phone’s Bluetooth settings and make sure Bluetooth is enabled.
- If an old Solos AirGo entry is listed, do not select it yet. Use the phone’s Forget, Remove, or equivalent command to delete that record.
Menu names differ between iOS and Android versions, but the operation is always performed in the operating system’s Bluetooth device list rather than only inside the companion app.

2. Put the glasses into pairing mode
- Press and hold the multifunction or virtual button for about five seconds.
- Release the button only after the LED is flashing red and blue and the “Pairing” prompt is heard.
- Leave the glasses next to the phone while the device list refreshes.
3. Complete the Bluetooth connection
- Tap Solos AirGo in the phone’s available Bluetooth devices.
- Wait for the connection confirmation and the blue LED indication.
- Only after system Bluetooth reports the glasses connected, open or reinstall the Solos AirGo app.
- Follow the app’s registration or setup screens.
If the phone never lists the glasses, the problem is still at the pairing-mode or discovery stage. Repeating the app’s registration screens will not correct a missing operating-system Bluetooth connection.
When AirGo V2 does not appear in Bluetooth
Confirm the five-second hold
The most common setup error is releasing the button before pairing mode starts. The required state is not merely “the glasses are on.” You need the red/blue flashing LED and the spoken “Pairing” prompt. If neither occurs, turn the glasses off if necessary and repeat the approximately five-second hold.
Keep discovery local
Place the glasses beside the phone, with no need to walk around while the list is scanning. Confirm that Bluetooth is enabled on the phone and that you are looking at the system Bluetooth page. Once the glasses enter pairing mode, select the newly displayed Solos AirGo entry.
Remove a stale phone record
A phone can retain a previous AirGo record even when the connection is no longer usable. Forget that record in Bluetooth settings, then put the glasses into pairing mode again. If another phone keeps reconnecting or discovery remains inconsistent, clear the host list stored inside the glasses as described below.
Do not confuse a saved entry with an active advertisement
The name can remain in a phone’s remembered-device list after the glasses stop advertising. Seeing Solos AirGo under saved devices therefore does not prove that the five-second pairing state is active. Remove the old record, trigger the red/blue indication, and wait for the fresh listing before selecting anything.
Clear the glasses’ stored pairing list with the eight-second reset
For a stuck connection or an AirGo that appears tied to an old phone, Solos documents an eight-second virtual-button operation that clears stored host-device pairings.
- Hold the virtual button for eight seconds.
- Watch for the notification LED to flash once.
- Listen for the “Pairing” prompt.
- Wait for the final double beep, which confirms that the stored host-device pairings have been cleared.
- On the phone, forget any existing Solos AirGo Bluetooth entry.
- Start the normal five-second pairing procedure and select the glasses as a new device.
This operation changes the glasses’ internal list as well as the phone-side record. It is therefore more extensive than simply forgetting the device on the phone, and previously paired hosts will need to be paired again.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteUse the confirmation sounds as checkpoints rather than releasing the button based only on an estimate. A single LED flash, the pairing prompt, and the concluding double beep identify the host-list clear. If those indications do not occur, repeat the operation carefully before assuming that the list was erased.

Use the full ten-second reset and clean-repair sequence
Use the full reset when ordinary pairing and the eight-second host-list clear do not resolve the problem, or when the app remains unable to see glasses that the phone claims are connected. Solos’ FAQ recommends resetting the smartglasses and reconnecting them, with the following order:
- Hold the virtual button for ten seconds to perform the full reset.
- Uninstall the Solos AirGo app from the phone or tablet.
- Open Bluetooth settings and remove or forget Solos AirGo.
- Connect the glasses to the phone or tablet first using the five-second pairing procedure.
- Reinstall the Solos AirGo app, or install it if it was not present.
- Open the app and complete registration and setup only after the system Bluetooth connection is established.
The order matters. Installing or opening the app before the operating system has a clean Bluetooth connection can leave setup looking incomplete even though the glasses are discoverable. The ten-second reset also means any existing pairing state must be rebuilt.
This is a clean-repair workflow, not merely another attempt at pairing. It removes the app layer, the phone’s remembered Bluetooth record, and the glasses’ reset state from the previous session before creating a new connection. Allow the phone to show the blue-connected state before launching the freshly installed app.
Which reset should you use?
| Action | Button hold | What it changes | App reinstall | Best use |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Enter pairing mode | About 5 seconds | Starts discoverable mode; red/blue LED and “Pairing” prompt appear | No | The glasses do not appear in the phone’s Bluetooth list |
| Clear stored host list | 8 seconds | Clears all host-device pairings in the glasses; LED flashes once, “Pairing” is heard, and a double beep confirms completion | No | An old phone reconnects or discovery is inconsistent |
| Full reset and clean repair | 10 seconds | Resets the glasses before removing the phone record and rebuilding the connection | Yes | Pairing remains stuck or the app cannot detect a Bluetooth-connected device |
| Update the Solos AirGo app | Not applicable | Applies published Bluetooth reconnection, connection-stability, setup, and firmware-update improvements | Usually no | Connections drop after a successful pairing or setup repeatedly fails |
For a clean repair, perform the phone-side forget operation as well as the glasses-side reset. Doing only one side can preserve the stale state on the other.
The least invasive choice is the five-second pairing command because it changes the current state without erasing hosts. The eight-second command also erases every stored host in the glasses, so it affects more than the phone being troubleshot. The ten-second procedure adds the app uninstall and reinstall and is best reserved for a failure that survives both sides of the Bluetooth cleanup. An app update changes software handling and is especially relevant when pairing succeeds but reconnection later fails.
When the app cannot find glasses that Bluetooth already connected
The app and the operating system perform different jobs. The phone’s Bluetooth service creates the device connection; the Solos AirGo app completes registration and provides app features. If Bluetooth shows the glasses as connected but the app cannot find them, use this sequence:
- Close the app completely.
- In Bluetooth settings, verify that Solos AirGo is connected rather than merely listed as a saved device.
- If it is not connected, forget the entry and repeat the five-second pairing procedure.
- If it is connected but the app still cannot see it, uninstall and reinstall the app as part of the ten-second clean-repair workflow.
- Open the newly installed app and complete registration after Bluetooth reports the connection.
Solos states that the app supports iOS and Android. On iOS, availability can vary by country or region, so an inability to download the app may be a regional store issue rather than a Bluetooth fault.

Keep the symptom categories separate. “The glasses are absent from Bluetooth” means discovery has not completed. “Bluetooth says connected but the app is empty” means the operating-system link exists while registration or app state does not. “The glasses connected earlier and now drop” points to reconnection stability. Choosing the corresponding remedy avoids repeatedly reinstalling the app for a radio-discovery problem.

Fix repeated AirGo V2 connection drops
Separate pairing failure from reconnection failure
If the glasses never appear in Bluetooth, work through pairing mode, close range, and stale-record removal first. If they pair successfully but later disconnect or fail to reconnect, the issue is in the reconnection path and should be handled differently.
Install the current app update
The Solos AirGo App Store change log reports improvements to Bluetooth reconnection and overall connection stability, clearer setup guidance, better firmware-update handling, and fixes for Bluetooth and other connectivity problems. Update the app through the phone’s normal app store before repeating a full reset. The release notes do not establish a particular AirGo V2 firmware number, so do not assume that a displayed app version is the glasses’ firmware version.
Rebuild the connection if drops persist
After updating, forget the phone’s Bluetooth entry and pair again with the glasses beside the phone. If that does not hold, clear the eight-second host list. Reserve the ten-second reset and app reinstall for a connection that remains unstable after those two less-invasive steps.
Recommended Free Tools
After each repair level, note what changes: whether the glasses reappear, whether the LED turns blue, whether the app completes registration, and whether the next connection attempt survives. Those observations tell you whether to move from a phone-side forget to an eight-second host clear or to the complete ten-second workflow.
No independently published dropout rate or success percentage is established for AirGo V2 in the available official material. A connection that continues to fail after the documented reset, clean pairing, and app update should be treated as unresolved rather than assigned a made-up performance threshold.
A practical troubleshooting decision tree
- Nothing appears in Bluetooth: confirm Bluetooth is enabled, hold the button for about five seconds, wait for red/blue flashing and the “Pairing” prompt, and keep the glasses next to the phone.
- The old phone reconnects or the list behaves unpredictably: forget the phone-side entry, clear the glasses’ host list with the eight-second hold, then pair again.
- Bluetooth connects but the app cannot see the glasses: connect in system Bluetooth first; then reinstall or reopen the app and complete registration.
- The glasses pair but repeatedly disconnect: update the Solos AirGo app, then perform a clean re-pair if necessary.
- The problem remains after the ten-second reset and clean-repair sequence: contact Solos support and describe each completed step, including the LED and voice-prompt behavior.
At every branch, wait for the state confirmation before proceeding. Red/blue flashing and “Pairing” identify discoverability; a blue LED identifies the completed Bluetooth connection; the eight-second double beep identifies a cleared host list. Without those signals, moving to the next branch can leave the original state unchanged.
Common setup mistakes and their corrections
Choosing a saved device instead of a discoverable device
A saved Solos AirGo entry is not proof that the glasses are currently advertising for pairing. Forget it, trigger pairing mode, and select the newly discovered device.

Clearing only one side
Forgetting the phone entry leaves the glasses’ host list untouched; clearing the glasses leaves the phone’s stale record untouched. When a connection is stuck, clear both records before pairing again.
Releasing the reset hold too early
Five, eight, and ten seconds represent different operations. Use a timer if needed and watch or listen for the confirmation associated with the operation you intend to perform.
Assuming every update has a model-specific fix
The published app notes describe general Bluetooth and setup improvements, but the available documentation does not identify a current AirGo V2 firmware version or a V2-specific Bluetooth bug fix. Check the app’s current release notes and Solos support for version-specific information.
Repeating the same incomplete sequence
Pairing attempts are unlikely to change the result if the phone record remains saved, the glasses’ host list still contains an old device, or the app is opened before system Bluetooth connects. Change one layer at a time: phone record, glasses host list, then the full app reset if needed.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What to tell Solos support if the problem continues
Support can troubleshoot faster if you provide the exact state instead of only saying that pairing fails. Record:
- Whether the five-second hold produces red/blue flashing and the “Pairing” prompt.
- Whether Solos AirGo appears in the phone’s Bluetooth list.
- Whether the LED changes to blue after selection.
- Whether you forgot the phone entry and completed the eight-second host-list clear.
- Whether you performed the ten-second reset, reinstalled the app, and connected in system Bluetooth before opening it.
- Your phone platform (iOS or Android), country or region if app availability is involved, and the app version shown by the app store.
This information distinguishes a discovery problem from an app-registration problem and from a reconnection-stability problem. If the glasses never produce the expected pairing indication, say so explicitly; that is a different failure point from an app that cannot see an already connected device.
Limits of the currently documented information
The official material establishes the button timings, LED and voice confirmations, clean-repair order, app-platform support, and app-release improvements described above. It does not publish a current AirGo V2-specific firmware version, a model-specific Bluetooth defect, or an independently measured dropout rate. For those details, use the version information and release notes currently shown in the Solos AirGo app or request the exact status from Solos support rather than relying on a generic Bluetooth claim.

How do I reset Solos AirGo 2 Bluetooth?
For a stored-pairing clear, hold the virtual button for eight seconds and wait for the notification flash, “Pairing” prompt, and final double beep. For the full reset, hold for ten seconds, uninstall the app, forget Solos AirGo in Bluetooth, pair the glasses first, and then reinstall or reopen the app.
Why does AirGo keep disconnecting?
Install the latest Solos AirGo app update, whose release notes include Bluetooth reconnection and connection-stability improvements. Then forget the phone entry and pair again. If drops continue, clear the eight-second host list and use the ten-second clean-repair sequence if necessary.
Why can’t the Solos AirGo app find my glasses?
Connect the glasses in the phone’s system Bluetooth settings first and confirm the blue connected indication. Only afterward open or reinstall the Solos AirGo app and complete registration. If Bluetooth itself does not connect, repeat pairing or the reset workflow instead of troubleshooting the app alone.
How do I clear the old Bluetooth pairing?
Forget the Solos AirGo record on the phone. If an old phone still reconnects or discovery remains inconsistent, hold the glasses’ virtual button for eight seconds and wait for the double beep that confirms all stored host-device pairings were cleared.
Does the Solos AirGo app support both iPhone and Android?
Solos states that the app supports iOS and Android. iOS availability can vary by country or region, so an inability to download it may be a regional store issue rather than a Bluetooth failure.
Is there a published AirGo V2 firmware number or model-specific Bluetooth fix?
The documented information does not identify a current AirGo V2-specific firmware version or a model-specific Bluetooth defect. Check the current in-app release notes or ask Solos support for version-specific status.
What should I do if pairing still fails after every reset?
Contact Solos support after completing the five-second pairing attempt, phone-side forget, eight-second host-list clear, app update, and ten-second clean-repair sequence. Include the LED behavior, voice prompts, phone platform, region if app availability is involved, and app version.
