Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 is ahead in the cited multi-core and graphics comparisons; Exynos 1330 has a higher listed top CPU clock and edges one Geekbench 6 single-core comparison. The balance depends on what you value, and neither set of chip-level figures predicts the performance, battery life, or gaming experience of every phone that uses the processor.

How the two chipsets compare at a glance

Clock speed and process size describe parts of a chip, not a phone’s complete performance. Cooling, power limits, memory, software, and the manufacturer’s implementation also matter. A chipset’s listed camera features likewise do not guarantee that every phone using it supports those features.

What the benchmark comparisons show

The figures below are published NanoReview database comparisons, not tests conducted on matched phones for this article. The pages do not identify the handset models or provide a controlled same-device test method. AnTuTu: Snapdragon leads in both listed versions

Benchmark Exynos 1330 Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 What the comparison indicates
AnTuTu 11 607,489, from 25 tests 737,054, from 70 tests Higher aggregate score for Snapdragon
AnTuTu 10 438,848 561,563 Higher reported score for Snapdragon

The AnTuTu 11 values and sample counts are from NanoReview’s comparison page, accessed in 2026. NanoReview AnTuTu 11 comparison AnTuTu 10 values come from a separate NanoReview comparison. NanoReview AnTuTu 10 comparison Because the benchmark versions and comparison datasets differ, do not compare an AnTuTu 10 score directly with an AnTuTu 11 score.

Geekbench 6: multi-core favors Snapdragon; single-core is close

NanoReview comparison Exynos 1330 Snapdragon 6 Gen 1
Geekbench 6 single-core 960 in one comparison; 929 in another 930 in one comparison; 943 in another
Geekbench 6 multi-core 1,826 in one comparison; 2,128 in another 2,700 in one comparison; 2,748 in another

The first comparison lists 960/1,826 for Exynos and 930/2,700 for Snapdragon; the second lists 929/2,128 and 943/2,748 respectively. First Geekbench 6 comparison Second Geekbench 6 comparison Across these listings, Snapdragon’s multi-core score is higher, while the small single-core lead changes sides. That makes the single-core ordering too close and inconsistent here to support a categorical winner.

Graphics: the cited 3DMark result favors Snapdragon

NanoReview lists 3DMark Steel Nomad Light scores of 139 for Exynos 1330 and 200 for Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. The listed stability figures are 97% and 99%, respectively. Which is better for gaming?

The cited graphics result gives Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 the stronger case on chip-level performance. It is a useful point of comparison, but not a direct gaming test: handset cooling, power limits, software, the game itself, and selected graphics settings can change real-world results. No matched-phone gaming measurements are established by these comparisons.

If gaming is the deciding factor, compare reviews of the exact phone models you are considering. Look for sustained frame rates and heat during longer sessions, rather than relying only on a chipset name or a short benchmark score.

What the specifications do—and do not—tell you

CPU clocks and core layout

Exynos 1330 has the higher listed maximum CPU clock: up to 2.4 GHz for its Cortex-A78 cores, versus up to 2.2 GHz listed for Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. The designs also differ: Exynos is listed with two Cortex-A78 performance cores and six Cortex-A55 cores, while Snapdragon is listed with four of each. A higher peak clock is not, by itself, a verdict on speed; core count, workload, power limits, and device design affect results.

Process size and battery life

Qualcomm lists a 4 nm process for Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, while Samsung describes Exynos 1330 as using 5 nm EUV. Those process labels alone do not establish which phone will last longer on a charge or stay cooler. Battery capacity, display, software, modem use, and the phone’s thermal design all affect those outcomes.

Connectivity and cameras

The platforms advertise different modem capabilities: Qualcomm lists sub-6 GHz and mmWave support for Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, while Samsung specifies an integrated sub-6 GHz modem for Exynos 1330. The bands supported by a finished phone depend on its implementation and market, so verify the exact model’s regional specifications before buying.

Likewise, the manufacturers’ imaging features describe platform capabilities, not a promise that every handset will include the same camera sensors, processing options, or recording modes. Check the phone maker’s specifications for the model you want.

Which chipset should you choose?

  • Choose a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 phone if the cited multi-core and graphics results matter most to you, and the specific handset also meets your requirements for price, battery, camera, and software support.
  • Consider an Exynos 1330 phone if a particular model offers the features and value you want. Its higher listed peak CPU clock does not, on its own, establish that it will be faster overall.
  • Compare phones rather than chip names if your priorities are battery life, sustained gaming, camera quality, network compatibility, or update policy. Those model-level factors are not resolved by the aggregate chipset scores.

Qualcomm’s claims of up to 35% higher CPU performance, up to 30% higher GPU performance, and 3x AI performance compare Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 with its previous generation—not with Exynos 1330. Qualcomm’s platform description They should not be read as head-to-head results between these two chipsets.
