You can add several pictures to your Snapchat Story by sending each new Snap to My Story, or by selecting saved Snaps together in Memories and creating a Story. For Camera Roll photos, you can share them from inside Snapchat; Snapchat also documents a direct Share-sheet method for iOS.
Choose the workflow that matches your pictures

These routes do not make a single collage image. The Memories route creates a Story from the selected Snaps. Snapchat’s help instructions and labels can vary by app version, language, and platform.
Add newly taken pictures one at a time
- Create a Snap in Snapchat.
- On the Send To screen, select My Story and send it. Snapchat also says you can tap the add-to-My-Story button at the bottom immediately after creating a Snap.
- Repeat for each picture you want to add.
My Story is a collection of Snaps, and Snapchat says they play in the order you created them. See Snapchat’s instructions for adding Snaps to My Story.

Open Camera Roll media in Snapchat
- From the Camera screen, swipe up to open Memories.
- Find the photo or video under Home or Camera Roll.
- Press and hold the item, then choose the sharing option to send it to your Story.

Use the iOS Share button
On iOS, Snapchat documents another route: open the picture in your Camera Roll, tap Share, and choose My Story in Snapchat. This specific system-share instruction is documented for iOS; do not assume the same Share-sheet flow is available on every Android device.
Import Camera Roll Snaps into Memories first
If you want to import items rather than simply browse and share them, Snapchat lists this path: Settings → My App → Memories → Import Snaps from Camera Roll, then select the Snaps. The menu wording can vary across app versions and languages. Snapchat’s Camera Roll import instructions also include a backup warning.

Create a Story from several saved Snaps
- Swipe up from the Camera screen to open Memories.
- Tap the Memories selector icon at the top.
- Select the Snaps you want in the Story.
- Tap Create at the bottom and name the Story.
This is the direct route when the pictures are already saved and you want to select several together. Snapchat describes the selected items as Snaps; it does not describe this as combining them into one collage. See Snapchat’s steps for creating a Story from Memories.
What to expect after posting
Snaps added to My Story play in the order they were created, so add them in the sequence you want viewers to see. Snapchat says friends can view My Story for 24 hours, although the viewing period may be longer or shorter for Snapchat+ subscribers. See Snapchat’s My Story guidance for these details.

Protect your saved pictures
Before logging out, switching devices, or uninstalling Snapchat, make sure Memories are fully backed up. Snapchat notes separately that Camera Roll content is not backed up by Snapchat, so keep copies you need in your phone’s photo library or another backup location.
