To complete the Underwater Rocks task in Slayers 2, search the water beside Bamboo Grove and collect five glowing blue rocks, sometimes called sea crystals. Their positions are reported to change, so scan the marked area rather than following fixed coordinates. Make short dives and return to the surface to restore oxygen.
Where to find the Underwater Rocks quest
Head to the water beside Bamboo Grove. The five pickups are on the underwater bed in that area, and are identified by their blue glow. Guides describe the collection area as the lake or water near Bamboo Grove; the locations are not reported as fixed.
Urokodaki, the Water Breathing trainer, is in a concealed area reached through an underwater passage near the house in Bamboo Grove. Guides describe the nearby landmarks somewhat differently, so look around the house and bridge for the hidden water opening rather than relying on one exact landmark.
How to collect all five rocks
- Locate the marked water area. Search the water beside Bamboo Grove for the quest pickups.
- Dive and scan the bed. Look for glowing blue rocks, also called sea crystals in some guides.
- Sweep the area instead of using coordinates. The pickup positions are reported to randomize, so a route or coordinate list may not match your session.
- Surface between dives. Keep an eye on your oxygen and return to the surface before it runs out. Repeat the search until the counter reaches five.
How to avoid losing progress to oxygen
Use short dives: scan part of the underwater area, surface to recover oxygen, then continue from another section. This makes it easier to search thoroughly without staying underwater until oxygen is nearly depleted.

One third-party guide reports that collected rocks remain counted if you drown. That persistence detail is guide-reported, not established by official game documentation here, so the safer approach is to surface before oxygen runs out.
What happens after the fifth rock
Underwater Rocks is one task in the Water Breathing training sequence, not the complete unlock by itself. The sequence is described as having six tasks, with the Water Trainee Sabito fight following the rock collection step. Finish the remaining required training objectives to unlock Water Breathing.
