In Slayers 2, title buffs apply when a title is equipped, while title passives are described as active as soon as the title is unlocked. The title index reviewed for this guide lists three equipped title slots and a separate Vanity slot, so deciding what to equip is different from deciding which milestones are worth earning. Requirements and bonuses below are guide-reported and can change with game updates; check each live in-game title card for the current values.

How Slayers 2 titles and bonuses work

The title index describes two kinds of bonuses:

  • Buff: applies when that title is in one of the three equipped title slots.
  • Passive: described as applying after the title is unlocked, whether or not it is equipped.

The index lists a separate Vanity slot as well. It reports 52 titles across eight listed groups: Combat (12), Exploration (5), Fishing (5), Legacy (1), Ouwigahara (7), Powers (17), Progression (3), and Race (2). These counts are a snapshot of a third-party guide’s index, not an official or guaranteed current in-game total. Pro Game Guides, updated September 19, 2026, also describes titles as milestone rewards across different activities. Compare the live menu and title cards before relying on a count or bonus.

Unlock titles by the activity you play

The title index groups requirements by activity. The examples below show the kinds of milestones to look for; the guide does not provide a complete, verified current set of tooltip values for every title.

Combat milestones

Several titles reward accumulated damage. The reported progression is Hard Hitter at 50,000 total damage, Bonebreaker at 500,000, Devastator at 2,500,000, and Annihilator at 10,000,000. Other Combat requirements include defeating enemies or bosses and reaching a death count. Treat these thresholds as guide-reported and check their live cards in case an update has changed them.

Fishing

Fishing titles include catching fish by rarity and retrieving lost items. For example, the guide lists Angler for catching 100 common fish. It also says Legendary Fisherman comes with a Legendary rod from Isao, the drowned fisherman; this is a third-party guide’s description rather than an official drop guarantee.

Power mastery

The index lists 17 Powers titles: eight Breathing Styles and nine Blood Demon Arts. Each is reported to require max mastery in its listed style or art. It reports a 1.02x Breathing Damage Factor for equipped Breathing titles and a 1.02x Evil Art Damage Factor for equipped Blood Demon Art titles. These roster and multiplier details are guide-reported, version-sensitive figures, not official patch documentation.

Damage titles: unlock thresholds and reported bonuses

For the damage-focused titles below, the guide separates the milestone from the equipped Buff and unlock Passive. The figures are reported by a third-party title guide, not independently tested here.

Title Reported unlock requirement Equipped Buff Unlock Passive
Bonebreaker 500,000 total damage +1 Additional Damage +0.15
Devastator 2,500,000 total damage +1.5 Additional Damage +0.2
Annihilator 10,000,000 total damage +2 Additional Damage +0.25

A separate Zenith guide reports that equipping all three gives +4.5 Additional Damage, with a further +0.6 from their passives. That total is the guide’s arithmetic for the listed bonuses, not a gameplay test or a guarantee that the bonuses stack that way in every current version.

Heaven’s Doorstep and other unusual unlocks

Heaven’s Doorstep

The title index identifies Heaven’s Doorstep as a Mythic Ouwigahara title. Its card requirement is reported as “Stand at the top of Ouwigahara.” The same guide lists +40 Max Health and a 1.03x Damage Reduction Factor as its equipped Buff, plus +15 Max Health as its Passive.

The guide describes Stair Walker and a floor-90-to-100 route as player-reported context for reaching the top. That route is not established as an official guaranteed method, so use the card’s requirement and current tower conditions as the authoritative in-game check.

Choosing titles: equip a build, but pursue useful passives

With three equipped slots, choose Buffs that support the activity or build you are using. A damage-focused character might prioritize reported damage Buffs, while a player preparing for a difficult tower run may value health or damage reduction. The exact choice depends on the current title cards and game mechanics.

Unlocking has a different consideration: if Passives remain active after unlock as the title index describes, an earned title may contribute value without taking one of the three equipped slots. That makes a broad milestone collection potentially useful, even when you keep different titles equipped for a particular build. Confirm current tooltip behavior in-game before planning around passive stacking.

How to verify a title before grinding for it

  1. Open the in-game title menu and find the title in its activity group.
  2. Read the title card’s unlock condition; use that wording over an older guide if they differ.
  3. Check the Buff and Passive separately, noting which one is tied to equipping and which is described as unlock-based.
  4. After completing the requirement, confirm the title is unlocked and inspect whether its passive appears to apply in the current version.

The available guides are third-party references, not official patch notes. Pro Game Guides offers a separate cross-check for milestone types and title examples, while BloxInformer’s title index has some entries marked TBA and is therefore only a limited cross-check. Use live game cards for exact current requirements and values.
