Tamari Blood Demon Art in Slayers 2 has five named skills beyond its basic M1 attacks: Spinning Throw, Tamari Dunk, Piercing Kick, Tamari Meteor, and Spiraling Shot. Its key input distinctions are tap versus hold for Spinning Throw, a follow-up press after Piercing Kick connects, and cursor placement for Tamari Meteor. The move descriptions below come from guides and a pre-release showcase; they do not establish current hotkeys, damage, cooldowns, or guaranteed combos.

How the inputs change the moves
Tap or hold Spinning Throw
A tap produces one throw, while a hold is reported to produce six rapid throws and a final heavy one. The tap is the version associated with a reported slow on hit. The available descriptions do not establish whether holding changes damage, recovery, or the chance of landing the sequence.

Piercing Kick has a conditional sequence: the opening kick must connect before the second input produces the bouncing temari follow-up. The guide/showcase description says the ball detonates on its third bounce. It does not provide a reliable timing window for the follow-up press, so use a confirmed hit rather than assuming the second input will work after a miss.

Place the cursor for Tamari Meteor
Tamari Meteor is the move whose direction is explicitly tied to cursor placement in the showcase description. Aim at the location where you want the launched target to descend; the available guide-level material does not establish a precise targeting radius or how the mechanic behaves in every live-game situation.
How Tamari plays in combat
Tamari is described as a projectile-focused kit with reported control effects. A landed tap throw can slow, a landed Dunk can stun targets caught by its impact, and Meteor or Spiraling Shot can launch a target. Those effects suggest a practical rhythm of poking at range, confirming a hit, then choosing a follow-up. That is an interpretation of the described mechanics—not a tested optimal combo or a guarantee of success in PvP.

- Try the tap and hold versions of Spinning Throw separately so you can recognize which sequence you triggered.
- For Piercing Kick, watch for the opening hit before pressing again.
- For Meteor, deliberately vary cursor placement and observe where targets descend.
- Before practicing, check which skill nodes you have learned and which keys are assigned to your hotbar; an unofficial guide advises checking both.
Unlocking Tamari skills
PlayerTome’s unofficial guide, updated October 2, 2026, describes the following unlock route: become a Demon, obtain a Tamari Orb through Muzan’s power roll or chest loot, use it to begin Tamari Core Training, then complete Cup Training, Push ups, Boulder Split, and Defeat Mizunotos in that order. Individual techniques are then unlocked in the Tamari skill-tree branch. In that guide’s account, obtaining the Orb and completing training are separate from unlocking each move. Verify the progression in the current game, since the guide is not an official current manual.

What is and is not confirmed
NerdsChalk’s moveset guide was updated August 27, 2026. A Project Slayers 2 wiki page updated September 8, 2026 says its mechanics are based on an Ouw Productions showcase dated August 26, 2026, and specifically describes a pre-release build. These sources support the broad move descriptions above, but they do not establish that every behavior remains unchanged in the live build.
