To cast a phone to a Skyworth TV, first check what your specific TV supports and whether you want to send media from one app or mirror the whole phone screen. Compatible models may offer Google Cast, AirScreen, or a model-specific option such as Castplay; no single method is documented for every Skyworth TV.
Check your Skyworth TV before you start
Find the TV’s model number on its label or in Settings > About. Then look up that exact model in Skyworth’s support resources and check its manual for casting or screen-mirroring features. Skyworth’s Philippines support page lists separate tutorials for Google Home screen mirroring and Air Screen mirroring, while a brochure for the SUC9300 describes Castplay. Cast video or audio from an app
Use this method when you want to play content from an app that supports Google Cast and your Skyworth TV has Google Cast capability. Google’s instructions require the phone and TV to be on the same Wi-Fi network. The Cast button’s location varies by app, and available content or features may depend on the app, device, and network. - Connect the phone and TV to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Open an app that supports Google Cast and start the video or audio.
- Tap the app’s Cast button and choose the Skyworth TV from the device list.
If the TV is not listed, use the checks in the troubleshooting section below. Do not assume that an app’s Cast button will mirror everything on your phone.
Mirror an Android screen
For full-screen Android casting, confirm that the TV supports the feature you plan to use. Skyworth lists a Google Home screen-mirroring tutorial on its Philippines support page; Google also documents screen casting to compatible Google Cast devices. The exact controls can vary by phone and TV software, so follow the instructions for your devices rather than relying on a universal menu path. Google says the phone and TV should use the same Wi-Fi network name and that AP or client isolation must be disabled. Isolation settings can prevent devices on a network from discovering one another. Google: Cast your Android screen

To cast media from an app
If the app has a Google Cast button and your Skyworth TV supports Google Cast, use the app’s Cast option and select the TV. This sends the app’s supported media; it is not the same as mirroring the whole iPhone screen. On iOS 14 or later, allow Local Network access for the casting app so it can discover Cast devices. To mirror the whole screen
Check the exact TV model for AirScreen or another documented compatible receiving feature. Skyworth lists an Air Screen mirroring tutorial on its Philippines support page, but that does not establish that AirPlay is built into every Skyworth model. Why your Skyworth TV may not appear
- Confirm the required feature. Check the TV’s exact model and manual to verify that it supports the method you are trying to use. Skyworth provides model-specific resources through its support channels. Skyworth USA FAQ
- Put both devices on the same Wi-Fi network. This is required for Google Cast app discovery and is also part of Google’s Android screen-casting guidance. Google: Cast from Chromecast-enabled apps to your TV Google: Cast your Android screen
- Check network isolation. AP or client isolation can block devices from seeing one another. Guest, hotel, and public networks may restrict device discovery; ask the network administrator or use a network that permits local device communication. Google: Cast your Android screen
- On iOS 14 or later, allow Local Network access. In iPhone or iPad settings, find the casting app and enable its Local Network permission. The precise settings display may vary by iOS version. Google: Cast from Chromecast-enabled apps to your TV
- Recheck the method for full-screen casting. A Cast-enabled app can find a TV even when whole-screen mirroring is not supported, or vice versa. Verify that the feature matches the task you want to perform.
- If basic checks fail, consult Skyworth for your model. Restarting the phone and TV or updating apps may be reasonable troubleshooting steps, but they are not guaranteed fixes for every model or network. Use Skyworth’s model-specific support resources. Skyworth USA FAQ
Can you mirror without Wi-Fi?
The Google Cast methods described here rely on devices sharing a Wi-Fi network, and Google’s Android screen-casting guidance also specifies network conditions. The cited Skyworth materials do not establish a universal no-Wi-Fi mirroring method across its TVs. Check the instructions for your specific model and feature before relying on offline or direct-connection casting.

When you may need an HDMI streaming device
You may not need extra hardware if your TV already supports the casting or mirroring feature you need. If it does not, an HDMI streaming device that supports Google Cast may provide a way to cast supported app content, provided the TV has a compatible HDMI input. Google’s hardware information distinguishes requirements for 4K content, so check the particular device and TV rather than assuming every combination supports 4K. An HDMI device that supports Google Cast is not, by that fact alone, a guaranteed solution for mirroring an iPhone screen. For that task, verify that the complete setup supports the iPhone’s intended mirroring method.
