The Money Factory is closed. Its main website says it permanently ceased operations on August 9, 2026, and is no longer accepting registrations, purchases, or gameplay. If you are looking for a replacement, treat names such as Crown Coins, LoneStar, and RealPrize as options to investigate—not guaranteed substitutes—and check each service’s current local eligibility and rules before signing up.
What happened to The Money Factory?
The Money Factory’s notice on its main domain says the service permanently ceased operations on August 9, 2026. The company says it is not accepting new registrations, purchases, or gameplay. It also says account records, balances, and pending redemption requests were preserved during the wind-down. For questions or account-record requests, use the contact address shown on the company’s shutdown notice; the notice does not promise a payment date or confirm that every pending redemption has been completed.
There is also a separate site, themoneyfactorycasino.com, with its own terms and a “Play Now” message. The available information does not establish that it is the same operator or an authorized continuation of the closed service. Do not treat it as proof that The Money Factory has reopened.
Which alternatives are worth investigating?
Casino.org’s October 2026 comparison roundup includes Crown Coins, LoneStar, RealPrize, Stake.us, and McLuck. It describes Crown Coins as an all-round option, LoneStar as a welcome-offer option, RealPrize as a VIP-rewards option, and Stake.us as an option for its games and no-purchase offer. These are that publisher’s editorial characterizations, not regulatory approvals or guarantees of suitability. Offers, features, and access can change.
#1 Best Overall
| Service | How Casino.org characterizes it | What to check before joining |
|---|---|---|
| Crown Coins | All-round option; the roundup notes an app. | Current state eligibility, app availability, currency rules, and redemption terms. |
| LoneStar | Welcome-offer option. | Current offer conditions, location restrictions, and redemption rules. |
| RealPrize | VIP-rewards option; Casino.org reports 700+ games in its October 2026 roundup. | Whether the reported catalog is still current, plus eligibility, rewards conditions, and redemption terms. |
| Stake.us | Highlighted for games and a no-purchase offer. | Current offer rules, local availability, and redemption restrictions. |
| McLuck | Included in the roundup’s broader comparisons. | Current eligibility and official rules; the roundup’s mention alone does not establish a particular fit. |
The descriptions and game figure above are from Casino.org’s October 2026 sweepstakes-casino roundup. They are editorial comparisons, not official operator terms. Check the named service’s own current rules for definitive conditions; do not assume an offer or feature remains available because it appeared in a roundup.
How to compare a replacement responsibly
1. Confirm that you are eligible where you live
Read the operator’s current official rules for your state before registering. Location matters: on February 4, 2026, the Illinois Gaming Board said it had not licensed or authorized The Money Factory for online gambling activity in Illinois and demanded that it block Illinois residents or stop offering cash, gift cards, and other prizes. That was an Illinois-specific action, not a nationwide ruling. The board’s letter reflects its position about activity it observed in Illinois on January 16, 2026.

2. Understand the promotional currencies
Promotional or virtual coins are not automatically cash, and receiving coins does not mean you have won money. Read the rules for each currency: how it is obtained, what it can be used for, whether it can be redeemed, and what restrictions apply. Treat a free-entry offer as a promotion with conditions, not as guaranteed winnings.
3. Read the redemption terms before playing
Check the operator’s official terms for minimum redemption amounts, identity verification, available methods, processing conditions, and restrictions. Comparison articles can help identify questions to ask, but their details may become outdated. Do not spend money based on an assumed redemption outcome or timing.

4. Compare games and access only if they matter to you
Look at the current game library and whether the service works in a browser, through an app, or both. Catalog size and mobile features can change, and a third-party count is only a snapshot. Choose based on the games and access options you actually want, not on a headline number alone.
5. Set limits and treat play as entertainment
Review the operator’s current responsible-play information and set limits that fit your budget and time. Casino-style play is entertainment, not an income source; promotional credits and redemption rules do not change that.
Rank #4
What should former players do about accounts or redemptions?
The company’s closure notice says records, balances, and pending redemption requests are on file, and directs players to its shutdown contact for questions and account-record requests. Keep any account details and transaction records you already have, contact the address provided on the notice, and retain copies of your correspondence. The notice does not establish that a balance has been paid or specify when a pending request will be resolved.
