In Beast of Reincarnation, the Silver Cuirass is in the Giant Tree Zone near Cableway – Line 2: Terminal Stop. From that stop, search upward and around the large nest or raised branch platform for a Strongbox. Open the box to collect the armor. The most consistently reported stats are 52 Defense, 60 Poison Resistance, 60 Lightning Resistance, Medium Enemy Awareness, and five Spirit Stone Slots.
The final traversal landmarks vary between walkthroughs, so use the cableway stop and the nest structure as your reliable anchors rather than following a single turn-by-turn description.
Where to find the Silver Cuirass
The Silver Cuirass is a Chapter 7 pickup in the Giant Tree Zone. The clearest location description places it inside a Strongbox near Cableway – Line 2: Terminal Stop. Both GamingBolt and NoobFeed identify a massive nest close to that cableway stop.
When you arrive, do not search only at ground level. The box is associated with a nest, raised branch platform, or elevated tree structure. Scan the roots, sloped approaches, branches, and upper platforms around the stop. A separate route description places a lockbox at the top of a sloped root path in the Giant Tree area, while another describes a raised tree-and-branch platform in the western Great Tree Zone, north of the Giant Tree: Feeding Ground camp. Those descriptions support the same broad area but do not establish one exact map coordinate.

The dependable landmark
Use Cableway – Line 2: Terminal Stop as your primary navigation reference. Once there, look for the conspicuous nest or branch platform and inspect its Strongbox. The cableway stop is more dependable than a specific “turn left” or “follow this root” instruction because the available walkthroughs describe the last approach differently.
Chapter timing
NoobFeed identifies the armor as a Chapter 7 item. The GameFAQs Chapter 7 walkthrough also says the chest contains the Silver Cuirass, although its nearby traversal text does not use the same explicit nest-and-terminal wording. If you are in Chapter 7 and have access to the Giant Tree Zone cableway, the item should be on your route rather than in a separate purchase menu or quest reward screen.
How to reach the Strongbox
- Enter the Giant Tree Zone. Confirm that you are exploring the Giant Tree area rather than a different zone with similar roots or branch scenery.
- Travel to Cableway – Line 2: Terminal Stop. Treat this stop as the search origin given by the armor-location guides.
- Orient toward the elevated tree structures. Look above the path for a massive nest, a raised branch platform, or a tree-and-branch landing. The box is not described as a plainly exposed ground chest.
- Check sloped roots and upper ledges. If the nest is not visible immediately, follow the nearby sloped root path and inspect its top. This matches the route clue recorded by Neoseeker.
- Search around the nest, not just inside it. Walk the perimeter of the platform and check the approach and rear side. The sources agree on a nest or raised platform, but not on which side of the structure the box is easiest to see from.
- Open the Strongbox. The container is the pickup point for the Silver Cuirass. If you find a different loot object, continue around the same elevated structure before leaving the area.
A secondary route clue
One guide places the platform in the western Great Tree Zone, north of the Giant Tree: Feeding Ground camp. Use that description only to refine your search after you have established the general Giant Tree location; it is a supporting landmark, not a definitive coordinate. The differing descriptions are why a visual scan around the Line 2 terminal is safer than memorizing one route diagram.

Silver Cuirass stats
The two most consistent armor tables list the following values. GamingBolt and NoobFeed both report the same defense, resistances, awareness level, and slot count.

These are guide-reported in-game attributes, not values verified against an official developer database. The 52 Defense figure appears in both the GamingBolt and NoobFeed tables, making it the best-supported defense value in the available listings. NoobFeed’s article was published August 14, 2026.
Why the resistance values matter
Poison and lightning are the Silver Cuirass’s defining defensive advantages. A value of 60 in each category gives the armor a clear elemental profile rather than making it a purely general-purpose shell. The practical choice is therefore encounter-dependent: equip it when the next area makes those damage types relevant, then compare the result with any later armor that offers higher defense or a resistance combination better suited to your route.

Awareness and Spirit Stone capacity
“Medium” Enemy Awareness indicates a balanced detection profile in the guide tables. It does not present the cuirass as a specialist stealth piece, but it also does not place it in a high-awareness category. Five Spirit Stone Slots add flexibility for players who want to tune the armor rather than use an entirely fixed setup. The slot count is part of the armor’s value even when another piece has a different defense or resistance emphasis.

Compare armor using four attributes: Defense, the elemental resistance relevant to the next encounters, Enemy Awareness, and Spirit Stone Slots. Silver Cuirass is best understood as a balanced option with moderate awareness, two listed 60-point resistances, and five customization slots.
Choose Silver Cuirass when
- Your immediate route exposes you to poison or lightning threats and you want both resistances on one piece.
- You need a middle-ground awareness profile instead of a strongly stealth-focused or highly conspicuous armor.
- You value five Spirit Stone Slots for build adjustment.
- Your current armor has lower defense or lacks one of these elemental protections.
Consider another piece when
- A later armor option gives substantially more defense for the encounter you are about to enter.
- The next enemies do not use poison or lightning, making those 60-point resistances less useful than another set of bonuses.
- You specifically need a different awareness category or more suitable Spirit Stone arrangement.
Some armor lists show stronger options later in progression, so the Silver Cuirass should not automatically be treated as the final best set. Its role is a well-rounded, resistance-forward pickup available during the Giant Tree section.

What to do if you cannot see the box
You are at the wrong cableway stop
Verify the label exactly: Cableway – Line 2: Terminal Stop. The location guides use that stop as the anchor. A nearby cableway line or another terminal can place you in the correct zone but still leave you far from the chest.
You are searching only on the ground
Raise the camera and inspect the upper branches, nest rim, and platforms. The recurring location clue is an elevated nest or branch structure. Walk around the base as well as the top of any sloped root that leads toward it.

Your route does not match a video or walkthrough
That mismatch does not necessarily mean the item is missing. GameFAQs, Neoseeker, and the armor-location guides describe nearby traversal landmarks differently. Keep the terminal and the nest as fixed references, then use roots, ledges, and branch platforms to reconstruct the final approach in your own map state.

You checked one side of the nest
Circle the entire platform and inspect behind trunks, at the top of the root slope, and along the raised branch. The guides identify the Strongbox’s general structure, not a universally identical camera angle or approach direction.
You opened a box but did not receive the armor
Confirm the item name in your inventory after opening the container. The Chapter 7 walkthrough identifies the relevant chest as containing Silver Cuirass. If the contents differ, you may have opened a neighboring loot container; continue searching the same nest or platform before moving on.
How the location reports fit together
The location evidence is strongest at the broad-area level. GamingBolt and NoobFeed agree on the Giant Tree Zone, the Line 2 terminal, and a massive nest. GameFAQs confirms the chapter chest contents but gives a less explicit final landmark. Neoseeker’s sloped-root description supports the Giant Tree setting without naming the terminal. The western Great Tree and Feeding Ground reference adds another possible orientation clue, but it should not be used as a replacement for the cableway anchor.
In practical terms, the reports are compatible if you treat them as layers of navigation: reach the Giant Tree Zone, go to Line 2’s terminal, identify the elevated nest or branch platform, and use the roots and local camp direction only to resolve the last few meters.
