Choose the 15R for more screen area
The OnePlus 15R’s 6.83-inch display gives you more room for reading, video, and games. TechRadar lists a 165Hz refresh rate and 1272 × 2800 resolution. A larger screen also means a larger handset: TechRadar lists its weight as 213g or 219g, depending on the listing.

Camera hardware: the X300 adds a telephoto lens
On the listed specifications, the clearest camera distinction is the X300’s dedicated 50MP telephoto camera with OIS. The OnePlus 15R’s reviewed rear setup has a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide, with no telephoto listed. That gives the X300 more camera hardware for framing distant subjects without relying only on a crop from the main camera.
The X300 also lists 200MP for its main camera and 50MP for its ultra-wide, compared with the 15R’s 50MP main and 8MP ultra-wide. Its front camera is listed at 50MP with autofocus, versus 32MP for the 15R in TechRadar’s review. Megapixel counts and lens specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos: image processing, focus, exposure, and real-world performance matter too. No controlled head-to-head camera test is established by the cited material.

Battery capacity and charging options
The OnePlus 15R has the larger listed battery capacity: 7400mAh, compared with the X300’s 6040mAh typical capacity. Vivo also gives a rated capacity of 5925mAh. Battery capacity alone does not determine how long a phone lasts between charges, because display, software, network conditions, and usage affect endurance.

The charging trade-off is straightforward on paper: vivo lists up to 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging, while TechRadar reports 80W wired charging and no wireless charging for the 15R. Vivo says its 90W capability depends on using its standard charger and that actual charging power varies with conditions. TechRadar’s reviewer reported at least two days between charges and a full charge in 1 hour 25 minutes in their own testing; that is an individual result, not a guaranteed runtime or a comparison with the X300.

Performance and software support
Vivo lists a Dimensity 9500 for the X300; TechRadar lists a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for the OnePlus 15R. Both are presented with high-end processors, but the available figures do not establish a controlled, like-for-like performance winner. A comparison-page Geekbench multi-core score is not enough to make that call without the testing context needed to assess how the results were produced.
For software, vivo’s India page shows OriginOS 6, while TechRadar’s review identifies OxygenOS 16 on the 15R. The 91mobiles comparison page reports five years of OS updates and seven years of security updates for the X300. TechRadar reports four years of software updates and six years of security patches for the 15R. Check the support terms for the exact regional version you plan to buy; the cited figures should not be assumed to apply identically across markets or variants.

India price difference: a ₹16,000 listing gap
A 91mobiles comparison listing showed the OnePlus 15R at ₹59,999 on Amazon and the vivo X300 at ₹75,999, a difference of ₹16,000. The same page marked the X300 out of stock. It also listed launch dates of December 17, 2025 for the 15R and December 2, 2025 for the X300.
Those are comparison-page snapshots, not verified live offers. The listing does not establish current stock, matching storage configurations, bank discounts, seller terms, or the final checkout amount. Compare the same RAM and storage tier where possible, then confirm the seller, availability, and payable price before deciding.
Which phone should you buy?
- Pick the vivo X300 if you want the more compact phone, a dedicated telephoto camera, wireless charging, or higher listed resolution across its camera modules.
- Pick the OnePlus 15R if you prefer a larger, high-refresh-rate display, want the higher listed battery capacity, or find it at a more attractive current price for the configuration you need.
- Compare both carefully if processor speed, photo quality, or battery life is your deciding factor. The cited specifications and reviewer observation do not provide controlled head-to-head results for those comparisons.
