The Logitech MX Anywhere 3S is worth considering if you want a compact rechargeable mouse with Bluetooth, glass-surface tracking, and flexible scrolling for work on the move. Its main trade-offs are practical: the standard consumer listing does not include a receiver, and the compact shape and side-button position may not suit every hand. Logitech describes the MX Anywhere 3S as a compact wireless mouse designed for use across different work surfaces and devices. Its feature set may be useful if you move between a desk, laptop, and other work locations, but the value depends on whether you will use those features.

- Tracking: Logitech specifies an 8,000 DPI sensor and says it tracks on glass. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently measured results. Logitech product listing.
- Scrolling: The MagSpeed wheel offers ratchet and hyper-fast modes. Logitech claims 90% more speed and 87% more precision compared with a “regular Logitech mouse”; those percentages are the company’s comparison, not a general benchmark.
- Connections: It can connect to up to three devices over Bluetooth, according to Logitech.
- Charging: The mouse charges over USB-C. Logitech estimates up to 70 days on a full charge and says a one-minute charge can provide up to three hours. These are maximum company estimates, not guaranteed results; actual battery life can vary with use and conditions.
Where it has an advantage
Portable feature set
Glass-surface tracking, Bluetooth device switching, USB-C charging, and two scroll modes combine features that can be convenient for mobile work. They matter most if you regularly switch work surfaces or devices; they may be less compelling if you use one computer at a fixed desk.

Logitech’s speed and precision percentages use its comparison with a “regular Logitech mouse,” so treat them as a manufacturer claim rather than a result verified across competing mice.

Receiver inclusion and connection needs
Logitech’s US consumer listing says the compatible USB receiver is Logi Bolt only and that a receiver is not included. Bluetooth is available, so the omission may not matter if your computer supports Bluetooth and you plan to use it. If you specifically need a USB receiver, check the exact regional listing and bundle before ordering; do not assume a receiver is in the box. Logitech US listing.

Compact fit and side-button reach
A 2026 Digital Camera World buying guide describes the mouse as compact and reports that its reviewer found the ergonomic design comfortable for daily use, while wishing the side buttons sat farther forward. That is one reviewer’s observation, not a guarantee of comfort or button reach for every hand and grip.
