Google named an Intel Core i3 12th Gen or newer, or AMD Ryzen 3 7000 series or newer, as processor baselines. Google’s current Australian Chromebook Plus page lists an HP 15.6-inch configuration with Intel Core i3, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. It also describes tools including Gemini, NotebookLM, Help me Read and image-editing features. Availability can depend on the device, country, language and eligibility, so check the relevant feature’s terms rather than assuming every tool is available to every user. Google Chromebook Plus
Google’s 2024 launch article also described AI-assisted video-call controls, Google Photos editing, offline file sync and creative apps. Its launch-era app offers were limited-time promotions; they should not be treated as current. Google Australia

Is it suitable for everyday work and entertainment?
The listed combination of a Full HD screen, Core i3-N305, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage provides a useful baseline for judging the machine’s intended role: ChromeOS tasks and web-based apps. The large display may suit users who prefer more screen area at a desk, while the 1.7 kg listed weight is a consideration if you expect to carry it frequently.
Specifications alone cannot establish how quickly it handles a particular workload, how good the panel looks, or how long the battery lasts. CHOICE’s public page does not reveal its expert rating, performance, battery or display test scores, or tester comments. No public measured battery-hour result or named independent performance benchmark is available in the sources cited here. CHOICE

Can it run Photoshop?
Google’s Chromebook Plus launch article named Photoshop on the web and Adobe Express among the creative apps associated with the category. That does not establish that every desktop Photoshop feature is available on this Chromebook, nor does it demonstrate performance on this exact model. Check that the web app supports the tools and file workflow you need before relying on it. Google’s earlier article also described LumaFusion and time-limited offers; those launch details are not proof that the offers remain available. Google Australia
Is 128 GB enough storage?
It can be adequate if most of your files live in cloud storage and you mainly use web apps, but offline downloads, large media libraries and creative project files can consume space. The listed 128 GB is the total capacity, not a promise that all of it is available for personal files. BIG W lists a microSD card reader, which may help with removable storage if present on the specific unit you buy; verify that feature on its listing. CHOICE and BIG W also disagree about whether the internal storage is UFS or eMMC, so do not base a speed expectation on either description without checking the SKU.
