The AndaSeat Minions Cloud Bean Bag Gaming Sofa may suit buyers who want a themed, floor-level lounge seat, but the evidence points to a trade-off: one reviewer found it comfortable and supportive, while also finding it difficult to get up from. Before buying, check the footprint, the exact fill and package contents for your regional SKU, and your local price and warranty. The published reviews are individual opinions, not controlled ergonomic or long-term durability tests.
What is the AndaSeat Minions Cloud Bean Bag Gaming Sofa?
It is a low, Minions-themed lounge seat intended for gaming or casual use. AndaSeat lists a size of 35.4 × 43.3 inches. That is the listed product size, not a recommended clearance area, so measure the floor space where you plan to put it and consider how the seated person will get in and out.
AndaSeat describes the sofa as having a body-wrapping shape, EPP particle filling, scratch-resistant fleece, a waterproof surface, a removable and refillable inner bag, a machine-washable outer cover, and a built-in carry handle. These are manufacturer descriptions; the available independent reviews do not establish those material or care claims through controlled testing. See AndaSeat’s product listing.
Is it supportive, or will you sink to the floor?
Bill Loguidice’s first-person review for Armchair Arcade, published July 8, 2026, describes a comfortable seat with whole-body support. He says family members including an 11-year-old and a tall 19-year-old also used it. Those accounts suggest it can work for different users in one household, but they do not establish a fit guarantee or a tested weight or height range. Read the Armchair Arcade review.

The same reviewer says getting up could be difficult for him at age 53, and that taller adults might want extra leg support. This matters if the sofa will be used by someone with limited mobility, or if you expect to sit upright for long stretches: try a comparable low bean bag seat first if you can. The reviewer’s comments are personal experience, not clinical or ergonomic findings.
What comes in the box, and what filling does it use?
Listings do not agree clearly on package contents. AndaSeat’s product page describes EPP particle filling, while PB Tech’s New Zealand listing for model AD-DDSF01-L-01-YB-F-B02 says “beans not included.” That difference means buyers should confirm the precise SKU and whether filling is included with the seller in their market before ordering. Do not assume the same contents across regions. View PB Tech’s New Zealand listing.

How should you think about spills, pets, and upkeep?
Spills and washing
AndaSeat describes the surface as waterproof and the outer cover as machine washable. No cited independent review tests the sofa’s resistance to spills or confirms washing results, so treat these as manufacturer claims and follow the care instructions supplied with your exact product. A removable cover can be useful for cleaning, but it does not by itself establish that liquid cannot reach the filling.

Pet claws and fabric wear
The manufacturer calls the fleece scratch-resistant. Loguidice reports that the materials held up during his review-period use in a home with an active puppy, but that observation is not a controlled scratch test and does not show how the fabric will perform with every animal or over years of use.

Keeping the filling even
Loguidice says the filling compressed somewhat and recommends shaking or patting the sofa to redistribute it every couple of weeks. This is a practical maintenance observation from one review, rather than a manufacturer interval or a tested schedule. The listing’s refillable inner-bag access may help with topping up, but check that your regional package includes fill and confirm how additional filling is sourced before relying on that feature.
Is it easy to move?
AndaSeat lists a built-in carry handle. PB Tech gives a shipped product weight of 7 kg for its New Zealand listing of model AD-DDSF01-L-01-YB-F-B02; this is a regional retailer figure, not a universal weight specification. The handle may help with repositioning, but the sofa’s dimensions and soft form still make the intended storage spot worth measuring. PB Tech lists the model and weight.

Is the Minions footrest included?
No: AndaSeat lists the matching Minions footrest as a separate product, with dimensions of 7.9 × 15.7 inches. At the time of retrieval, its official listing showed a price of $39 USD; prices can change and vary by market. Loguidice did not review the footrest, though he suggested it might help taller adults seeking more leg support. Treat it as an optional, untested add-on, not part of the sofa package. See the separate footrest listing.
How much does it cost, and what warranty applies?
Price, returns, delivery and warranty depend on the listing and market. These are listing snapshots retrieved for this review, not guaranteed current offers:

Quick Recap
Who is it best suited for?
- Consider it if you want a themed, casual floor seat and the 35.4 × 43.3-inch listed size fits your room.
- Check carefully first if the intended user is tall, has difficulty rising from low seating, or needs leg support.
- Confirm before ordering whether your exact regional SKU includes filling, and verify local price, return terms, delivery and warranty.
- Do not treat the care claims as proven performance: waterproofing, scratch resistance and long-term durability are not established by controlled tests in the cited reviews.
