How do Shop Titans events work, and what should you do before one starts? Shop Titans rotates several event formats, but they do not all ask the same thing from players. Lost City of Gold, King’s Caprice, and Dragon Invasion are guild events in which an officer chooses an unlocked difficulty and the guild works toward a score threshold. Tower of Titans is a solo event with its own progression and optional high-difficulty mode. Event dates, instance numbers, thresholds, currencies, and reward tracks can change, so the event panel in your current game client—and the current official event listing—should be your final authority.
Which recurring events appear in Shop Titans?
The official event index identifies four recurring formats: Lost City of Gold, King’s Caprice, Dragon Invasion, and Tower of Titans. The first three are organized around guild participation; Tower of Titans is completed individually. The index and the in-game event interface can show different event numbers or dates as the schedule changes, so treat a remembered calendar as a planning hint rather than a promise.

Guild event participation does not mean every member must contribute the same way. Officers set the difficulty, while members provide the activity, parties, equipment, and score needed to reach the selected target. Tower of Titans removes that coordination requirement but puts all preparation and battle decisions on one player.

Town Hall level controls which difficulties unlock
The Guilds Galore update introduced selectable difficulty for Lost City of Gold, King’s Caprice, and Dragon Invasion. Available choices depend on the guild’s Town Hall level. An officer assigns the difficulty for that event; an individual member cannot switch the guild to another level.

Unlocking a level is only a permission, not evidence that the guild can finish it. Before selecting, compare the expected number of active participants, their usual contribution, and the time they can spend with the threshold shown for the target. A small or newly formed guild may sensibly choose Easy or Medium even when a higher level is unlocked. Hard was described as comparable to the earlier challenge and reward scale, while Extreme is intended for established, advanced guilds prepared for substantially steeper requirements.
The selection is locked once the event starts
The July 2025 official notes state: “Keep in mind however that an event’s difficulty cannot be changed while the event is running.” That makes the officer’s pre-event decision consequential. Do not choose Extreme expecting to lower it after participation reveals a shortfall, and do not assume a late change can rescue a missed target. Discuss the choice in the guild before the event opens and record who is expected to contribute.
Published grand-prize thresholds
The following figures are the grand-prize score requirements published in Shop Titans’ July 2025 release notes. They are historical official thresholds, not a permanent guarantee. Check the current event panel before quoting or planning around them; balance updates can change a number, and the live track may display additional milestones.

These are grand-prize thresholds, not necessarily the end of every reward. Extreme instances can place bonus rewards beyond the grand prize, requiring still more score. A guild that reaches the headline prize should open the active track and check whether another milestone remains.
What each guild event requires
Lost City of Gold
Lost City of Gold uses the guild-score model: members perform the event’s available activities, and the combined score is measured against the selected difficulty. The practical requirement is reliable participation rather than a particular hero composition stated in the published threshold notes. Officers should estimate a contribution target per active member, identify members who can cover quiet periods, and avoid treating the Extreme number as a routine objective simply because Town Hall level unlocks it.

The event’s reward inventory has changed over time. Official update history records a highest difficulty that added more Pure Gold and Platinum Chests and Keys. Those notes explain why older screenshots or guides may show a different reward mix; they do not constitute a complete current catalog. Use the current reward track for item names, quantities, and eligibility.
King’s Caprice
King’s Caprice also measures guild score against the officer-selected difficulty. Its thresholds rise sharply between levels, especially from Easy to Medium and from Hard to Extreme. That jump makes a participation forecast essential: multiplying a few highly active players’ best historical score is not a substitute for checking how many members will actually play this instance.

A 2023 update described an expanded King’s Caprice track with a stated grand prize of 125 Antique Tokens. That is a dated update detail, not a guarantee that every current run pays that amount. The live event screen determines the present token quantity, intermediate rewards, and any eligibility rules.
Dragon Invasion
Dragon Invasion adds a preparation-and-assault loop instead of relying only on ordinary event actions. The official launch description divides the event into supply and assault phases.
- Build the supply. Assign a hero party and a champion, choose up to five boosters, and equip ten troopers. These contributions determine the Airship Power shown for the event.
- Launch an assault. The airship attacks dragons, reducing their health and opening the event’s progress and rewards.
- Rotate your roster. Heroes used in one assault need rest before they can be used again. A single overpowered party cannot necessarily carry every consecutive assault.
Dragonmarks are Dragon Invasion’s event currency in the launch documentation. That documentation describes uses including upgrading furniture beyond level 15, improving the Dragon’s Hoard, and rushing furniture upgrades. Current costs and available uses may differ, so inspect the currency description and reward track in the active event before spending.

The launch notes called Dragon Invasion “a major event spanning a full week.” That wording describes its original format; it should not be used as a current duration claim without checking the present schedule.
How Tower of Titans differs from guild events
Tower of Titans is a solo event. Your guild’s Town Hall, officer decisions, and combined score do not determine your tower progress. You plan your own teams, attempt the available floors, and accept the consequences of a failed run without relying on other members to make up points.
Terror is optional and deliberately demanding
Terror is an optional high-difficulty setting, not a baseline requirement for ordinary Tower of Titans participation. The 2023 official notes describe special monster modifiers, a gold trophy, and a permanent title for a player’s first completion. They also stated that Terror monsters took only 5% of attack damage and ignored part of heroes’ critical-hit and evasion statistics. Those mechanics are version-specific; read the current Terror rules before building a team around them.
For a newer player, the sensible objective is to progress as far as your roster and resources allow, then treat Terror as a separate challenge. Attempting it solely because it offers a prestigious reward can consume healing, equipment durability, or other limited resources without improving your normal event completion.
What rewards can you expect?
There is no single reward list shared by all Shop Titans events. Each event has its own currency, milestones, and eligibility, and the inventory can be expanded or rebalanced in an update. The safest way to answer “what do I get?” is to open the current reward track before spending resources or promising a guild outcome.

Do not infer that reaching a score threshold grants every item visible in a historical guide. A threshold normally identifies a milestone; additional rewards may require a higher score, a particular difficulty, or completion of a separate objective.

1. Find the live schedule and event rules
Open the event interface and note the start and end times, the event number, participation model, score display, and reward track. Compare those details with the current official event listing if you need a second confirmation. Do not plan from a year-old calendar: dates and instance numbering are time-sensitive.
2. Decide a guild difficulty before the lock
For Lost City of Gold, King’s Caprice, or Dragon Invasion, an officer should list the unlocked levels and their current grand-prize targets. Ask members to report whether they expect to play and what they contributed in comparable events. Pick the highest level the guild can realistically finish, not the highest level the Town Hall merely permits.
3. Set a contribution plan
- Assign a target contribution or check-in time to active members.
- Identify backups for members who may be unavailable during part of the event.
- Keep a simple running total so the guild can see whether its pace matches the remaining time.
- Reserve the final part of the event for recovery from missed activity rather than assuming every member will make a last-minute push.
4. Prepare Dragon Invasion assets
Before a Dragon Invasion assault, decide which hero party and champion will be assigned, which boosters are worth using, and which ten troopers will be equipped. Avoid committing every suitable hero to the first assault if the roster will be needed again before rest completes. Coordinate gear and booster choices so two members are not preparing redundant low-impact setups while a stronger party remains unused.

5. Prepare for Tower of Titans separately
Review your solo roster, healing and recovery options, and the current floor modifiers. If you are considering Terror, read its active rules first and decide what loss you can afford. A Terror attempt should be an intentional challenge run, not an accidental consequence of clicking the hardest option.

6. Check rewards before spending currency
Open each milestone and any event shop, then note which rewards are guaranteed at the grand-prize threshold and which require extra score. Confirm whether a currency has a use you actually need before exchanging it. Historical names such as Platinum Chests, Antique Tokens, or Dragonmarks can remain familiar while quantities and costs change.
Common planning mistakes and how to recover
Choosing a difficulty because it is unlocked
Symptom: The guild reaches the middle of an event and is far behind the selected target. Fix: Treat the current run as a lesson, document actual participation and score per member, and select a sustainable level next time. The difficulty cannot be lowered during the active event.
Assuming the grand prize is the final reward
Symptom: The guild reaches the advertised Extreme threshold but sees another milestone. Fix: Read the full track before the event starts; Extreme can place bonus rewards beyond the grand prize and require additional score.

Symptom: A preferred party is unavailable for the next assault. Fix: Rotate a second party, allow the first group to rest, and schedule assaults around recovery rather than launching immediately whenever the button appears.
Using old reward screenshots as proof
Symptom: The item or quantity in the current client does not match a guide. Fix: Trust the active reward panel and current official notes. Update your guild’s planning document after each event instead of copying a static list forward.
Treating Terror as mandatory
Symptom: A player burns resources on repeated failed attempts and falls behind on normal tower progress. Fix: Return to the standard progression, improve the roster, and reserve Terror for a deliberate attempt when its modifiers and rewards justify the risk.
Where the current event screen outranks every guide
Use guides to understand the structure, but use the live client to make decisions. A current event panel can reflect a balance change that older release notes cannot: a different score threshold, duration, reward quantity, difficulty name, or Dragon Invasion action. The official update history is valuable context, yet it is not a complete current catalog of every event reward or rule.

For officers, the most reliable workflow is to capture the live thresholds and reward milestones, poll the guild for availability, and lock a difficulty only after comparing the two. For individual players, the same principle means checking whether an event is guild or solo, reading its special mechanics, and confirming what a score milestone actually pays before committing scarce boosters, heroes, or currency.
