After a summon, push Adventure as far as your team can reliably go, then use the rewards and unlocks to build a compact core team and a dependable repeat-stage farmer. Invest in a new hero only when it solves a current need; save premium currency and scarce materials for upgrades that help your account now.

Start with Adventure, not another round of upgrades

Your first priority is Story/Adventure progression. Netmarble’s beginner guide recommends prioritizing Adventure because advancing provides rewards and can unlock features, equipment, heroes, and materials. A newly summoned hero may help you progress, but summoning alone does not build an account: the rewards and systems unlocked along the way do.

Push until your current team can no longer advance comfortably. There is no fixed story-stage threshold in the official beginner guidance for when every account should stop pushing and farm instead. Your roster, formation, and the current state of the game all affect that decision. Treat each new stage as a test of whether your team is still making dependable progress, not as a demand to spend resources whenever you meet resistance.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

A practical way to judge “comfortably” is to look at the result rather than chase a particular stage number. If the team clears and you can continue toward the next unlock, keep pushing. If progress stalls, first identify what is actually failing: does the team need more damage, do heroes fail to survive, or is the group too inconsistent to repeat a stage? Those problems point to different next steps. A damage gap may make a role change relevant; a survival issue may call for formation or positioning adjustments; an unreliable repeat clear may mean choosing a more manageable farming stage.

After each meaningful unlock

  • Claim available beginner rewards and review free summons.
  • Check which features, missions, or rewards your progress has opened.
  • Identify the obstacle in the next stage before spending resources: insufficient damage, fragile heroes, or a team that is too slow for repeat farming may call for different fixes.
  • Reconsider your next goal when a new system becomes available. A reward or task that was out of reach earlier may now give you a useful direction for progression.

Use the live game’s objectives to decide what to do next. Netmarble’s September 2026 update notice says missions, expedition events, and the Content Dashboard were brought together in the Adventurer’s Guide, including Adventurer’s Path and Item Info sections. The update notice was updated September 16, 2026 (UTC+0). Menus and event tasks can change, so follow the version and region shown in your game. The point is to check the current objectives available to your account instead of relying on an old menu path or assuming every player has the same event task.

Build a small team around what your account lacks

Do not treat every new summon as a new upgrade project. Choose a small functional core, concentrating early investment on about five main heroes rather than spreading it across the whole roster. Netmarble’s beginner guide, edited September 30, 2026, advises focusing on five core heroes and expanding teams once the main group is stable.

That five-hero focus is a way to control the number of competing investments, not a universal team recipe or a declaration that every account must use the same lineup. A useful core needs to deal damage, survive long enough to do its job, and have the support or utility needed for the content you are tackling. It also helps to have a hero who can clear an appropriate repeat stage reliably. The exact mix depends on your roster; the guidance does not establish one universal team or hero ranking.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Think about whether your current group works as a team before deciding that the newest summon must replace someone. If an existing hero is already doing a needed job well enough to keep Adventure moving, a second hero with a similar function may not improve the account immediately. Conversely, if the team is stalled because an important job is missing, a new hero may be more useful than another upgrade to a role that is already covered. The question is not simply whether a hero is good in isolation, but whether building that hero helps you make progress now.

Evaluate a new hero before investing

  • Current bottleneck: Would the hero address the problem stopping your Adventure progress, such as damage, survival, or support?
  • Role overlap: Does an adequately built hero already fill that job?
  • Investment burden: What duplicates, gear, materials, or teammates would the new hero need before helping?
  • Immediate reach: Can the hero contribute to more than one of your current goals, or is the benefit limited to a mode you are not ready to prioritize?

Use the questions together rather than treating any single one as a complete answer. For example, a hero might address a real need but still require more resources than you can comfortably spare. Another candidate might overlap with an existing hero but help in more than one immediate goal. Compare what each would do for your current account, what else you would need to invest, and whether the team is already able to handle the content you want to play.

This is a decision framework, not an official tier list. A hero can be valuable without being the right next investment for your account. Likewise, a summon is not automatically worth pursuing because it is new or because you have currency available. No universal next hero or build is established by the current beginner material, so avoid turning a personal roster choice into a rule for every account.

Set a wishlist to express a need, not to guarantee a result

If you use the hero wishlist feature, configure it around gaps in your roster before making additional pulls. Decide what role or content need you want to address, then avoid filling the wishlist with heroes whose jobs your core already handles well. The available guidance supports using a wishlist as a planning tool; it does not establish summon probabilities or guarantee that you will receive a selected hero.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

That distinction matters: a wishlist can help you make a more deliberate choice about what you want, but it is not a substitute for checking the result of a summon or for planning around what you actually own. Review your roster after pulling. If the result does not fill the gap you hoped to address, return to the team you have rather than spending more simply because the plan did not work out immediately.

Use low-rarity heroes and repeat stages deliberately

Players often ask what to do with one-, two-, and three-star heroes after leveling them to level 30. The useful distinction is between a hero you are building as part of your core and a hero serving a temporary account task. Do not assume that every low-rarity hero deserves further investment, but do not discard or consume a hero casually if you are unsure what it does or whether it could be useful later.

Netmarble’s beginner guidance identifies leveling fodder as part of the early Ruby-farming loop. That makes low-priority heroes potentially useful for progression tasks rather than automatic long-term investments. Check the current in-game task or guide before using them, and keep valuable duplicates rather than consuming them without a specific reason. The beginner guidance does not provide a universal rule for every one-, two-, or three-star hero or every duplicate. In particular, a hero reaching level 30 is not, by itself, enough information to determine whether you should keep, build, or use it for another purpose.

Before you act on a low-rarity hero, ask what role it currently serves: is it one of the five heroes you are actively building, is it helping meet an in-game progression task, or is it simply outside your current plan? Those answers help you avoid two opposite mistakes: spending scarce materials on every hero you own, and consuming a hero or duplicate without checking whether it has a job or future use. If the task is unclear, consult the live in-game guide and keep the decision reversible until you know what you need.

Choose a farming stage your team can repeat reliably

When pushing Adventure stops being productive, use a repeat stage to earn experience and materials. The right stage is the highest one your team can clear consistently, not necessarily the furthest stage you have reached. If clears fail or become unreliable, step back to a stage your team can complete repeatably. A stage that looks more advanced is not automatically a better farming choice if your team cannot reliably finish it.

Netmarble’s guidance connects Ruby farming with leveling fodder, but it does not establish one best Ruby map for every account. Stage access, team strength, and current game conditions matter. Treat farming as a way to support the next progression goal, rather than as a reason to leave your team running a stage it cannot handle reliably. If you need experience or materials, select a repeat stage that fits what your team can complete; when that improves the team, return to Adventure and see whether you can advance again.

There is no universal answer to “what are the best maps to farm rubies?” in the guidance available here. Rather than copy a map recommendation without checking whether it fits your progress, use the highest repeatable option for your account. Reassess when your team changes or becomes stronger: a stage that was once unreliable may become practical, while a newly unlocked stage still needs to prove that it can be cleared consistently by your lineup.

Make formation and positioning part of the fix

Before spending materials to solve a difficult fight, check your formation and hero positions. The defensive roles of front and back positions affect how a team handles an encounter, and formation also matters when farming. If a hero is being exposed or the team is not surviving long enough to clear, try a formation adjustment before committing scarce upgrades. The issue may be how your current team is arranged rather than proof that you need to build another hero.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Change your setup with the problem in mind. If the group is failing to survive, review who is placed in front and back and whether the arrangement makes sense for that fight. If the problem is a repeat stage that does not clear consistently, test whether a different formation makes the team more dependable. The goal is not to assume one formation works everywhere; it is to treat formation as part of team-building and check the result in the content you are actually playing.

The mechanics overview from the BlueStacks Content Team also discusses formations and core mechanics. Its publication date is not established on the page, so use it as supplementary background and verify current behavior in the live game.

Spend gear, currency, and upgrade materials against a goal

Early resources are most useful when they remove a specific obstacle. Before enhancing equipment or investing in a hero, name the problem the upgrade should solve: for example, helping your team clear the next Adventure stage or making a repeat stage dependable. If you cannot connect the expense to a current account goal, wait. A short pause to compare the bottleneck with the proposed upgrade can prevent you from spreading materials across improvements that do not change what your team can do.

Be especially cautious with heavy investment in temporary equipment. Netmarble’s beginner guidance warns that gear you are likely to replace can make expensive upgrades poor early investments. Improve equipment enough to address the immediate bottleneck, then reconsider once progression offers better options. The warning is about committing heavily to something you expect to replace, not a reason to ignore equipment altogether: use it as needed to help your current team, while keeping the likely replacement in mind.

Apply the same discipline to hero materials. A new summon can be exciting, but if the hero duplicates a role your core already fills, the cost of building it may be better saved for a more immediate need. Before committing, compare the hero’s likely contribution with the other resources it will require and the benefit of strengthening a core member who already helps you progress. The available beginner advice does not give a universal material budget, so make the decision in relation to your current bottleneck rather than following an invented fixed allocation.

Premium currency deserves the same discipline. Do not summon simply because you have rubies to spend. First decide what your account needs, whether the banner or available option fits that need, and whether spending would leave you short of resources for a more useful improvement. The available sources do not establish current banner odds or a universally best way to spend rubies, so make the decision using the live game’s information rather than an assumed guarantee. If you cannot name what a pull is meant to improve, keeping your currency until you have a clearer goal is a valid choice.

It also helps to separate “I can spend this” from “spending this helps now.” A resource may be available while the account still lacks a clear target. Revisit your plan after a meaningful unlock, after a new summon changes your roster, or when the same progression wall persists. That is more useful than automatically upgrading the newest hero or trying to build every option at once.

Expand into specialized modes after your core is dependable

Once your main team can progress and farm consistently, start considering specialized needs such as bosses, raids, and Arena. Building for these modes earlier can divide resources between several incomplete teams. The official beginner guidance places mode specialization after establishing basic progression and farming.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Expand in response to a real need: a mode you are ready to play, a mission in the Adventurer’s Guide, or a reward that advances your account. Add heroes and teams gradually so the main group remains capable of doing its job. If a specialized mode is not your current objective, it does not need to compete with the team that is still opening features and enabling reliable farming.

When you do start to specialize, use the same account-first questions you used after summoning: what content are you trying to clear, what job does your team lack for it, and what investment would make a practical difference? A hero intended for a later mode may be a sensible long-term consideration, but the official beginner guidance does not recommend building several specialized teams before the basic progression and farming loop is stable.

A practical order of operations

  1. Claim available rewards and review free summons. Check the live game for beginner tasks and current objectives, including the Adventurer’s Guide where applicable.
  2. Identify the gap in your roster. Decide whether your next need is damage, survival, support, or repeat-clear reliability.
  3. Set your wishlist if you use one. Choose around that gap, without treating it as a guaranteed summon.
  4. Push Adventure. Keep progressing while your team can clear comfortably and collect the resulting unlocks and rewards.
  5. Invest selectively. Concentrate upgrades on a compact core of about five heroes and avoid building a new hero whose role is already covered.
  6. Check low-rarity heroes before using them. Consider whether they support your core or an active task, and do not consume a valuable duplicate casually.
  7. Adjust formation and positions. Try a team setup change when survivability or repeat-clear consistency is the issue.
  8. Farm a reliable repeat stage when progress slows. Use the highest stage your team can clear consistently to support experience and material needs, including fodder leveling connected to Ruby farming.
  9. Reassess before spending scarce resources. Upgrade gear and heroes only when the investment addresses a current goal, and be cautious about heavily enhancing temporary equipment.
  10. Specialize after the core is stable. Add teams for bosses, raids, Arena, or other modes as your account becomes ready.

This order is a loop rather than a one-time checklist. Adventure progress can unlock new options; those options can change what your roster needs; a repeat stage can help fill experience and material needs; and improved heroes or formation can make another push possible. After each cycle, reassess the next bottleneck instead of continuing to follow an earlier plan that no longer fits your account.

What the available guidance does not settle

There is no single next hero, universal build, fixed farming map, guaranteed wishlist outcome, or precise stage at which every beginner should switch from pushing to farming established by these sources. Hero balance, banners, menus, and events can change, and the right choice depends on your roster and the live game state. Use Netmarble’s current in-game objectives and notices for volatile details, and use the decision framework above to prioritize your own account.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do with one-, two-, and three-star heroes after leveling them to level 30?

Do not assume every low-rarity hero needs further investment, but do not consume a hero or valuable duplicate without checking its role and current in-game tasks. Netmarble’s beginner guidance connects leveling fodder with Ruby farming, but it does not set one rule for every hero or duplicate. Keep your core focused and use the live guide to confirm what a hero is needed for before using it as fodder.

Who should I put on my wishlist?

Choose heroes who address a current gap in your account, such as damage, survival, or support, rather than listing heroes whose roles your core already covers. A wishlist is a planning tool, not a guarantee; current summon probabilities are not established by the beginner guidance.

What are the best maps to farm Rubies?

There is no single best map established for every account. Use the highest repeat stage your team can clear consistently, and step back if clears become unreliable. Your roster, stage access, and current game conditions affect the practical choice.

Should I keep pushing Adventure or stop to farm?

Push while your team can progress comfortably. When you hit a wall, farm a repeat stage you can clear reliably for experience and materials, then reassess whether the improved team can push farther. No universal stage number for switching is established.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

How many heroes should I focus on early?

Netmarble’s beginner guide edited September 30, 2026 advises focusing upgrades on about five core heroes and expanding teams gradually once that group is stable. The right lineup depends on your roster and immediate content needs.

Should I spend heavily on gear as soon as I get it?

Upgrade equipment enough to address a current obstacle, but avoid heavy investment in gear you expect to replace. Netmarble’s beginner guidance specifically warns that temporary equipment can make expensive upgrades a poor early investment.

The Bottom Line

After summoning, prioritize Adventure until progress slows, focus on a functional core of about five heroes, and use a repeat stage your team can clear consistently when you need experience or materials. Let current account needs—not novelty—guide your wishlist, upgrades, and premium-currency spending, and expand into specialized modes after your core is dependable.
