SEGA’s September 15, 2026 SEGAWAY feature points to special footage from May’s “XBOX Presents: A Special Look at STRANGER THAN HEAVEN,” where developers and cast discuss the game’s world, characters, combat, and show-business mechanics. The article describes the subjects covered, but does not list five separately titled interview videos or provide a segment-by-segment guide.
What the SEGA feature covers
SEGA says the footage introduces a story spanning 50 years, a setting spread across five eras and five cities, a flexible combat system, and show-business elements. Its description presents these as subjects in the footage, not as a catalog of individual videos or a transcript of interviews. Read SEGAWAY’s feature.
Who appears in the footage
The SEGAWAY article names executive director Masayoshi Yokoyama and cast members Yu Shirota, Dean Fujioka, and Snoop Dogg as participants discussing the game’s world and characters. It does not say they are the only people featured. The article does not reproduce verbatim comments attributed to the named participants.
How the premise connects to the gameplay
In SEGA’s May presentation announcement, the game follows Makoto Daito across five eras and cities. The announced design pairs street-fighting combat with the work of an “興行師” (show promoter): finding performers and putting on shows. These are elements SEGA identifies as part of the game; the available article does not provide a detailed breakdown of controls, combat systems, or show-management rules. See SEGA’s May announcement.
