Securden Password Vault for Enterprises is an enterprise credential-management product for teams that need centralized storage, controlled sharing, approvals and activity visibility. Its documented feature set also reaches into DevOps secrets and privileged-access workflows, but several advanced controls are reserved for the separate Enterprise PAM edition. Buyers should confirm the exact edition, deployment and contract terms before treating any feature as included.
What Securden Password Vault for Enterprises does
Securden describes a centralized vault for logins, passwords, keys, documents and other identities, with team sharing, role-based access, approval workflows, activity trails and reporting. It is aimed at IT, DevOps and business teams managing both human and non-human credentials. See the official product overview and feature list.
The published feature set includes browser autofill, password policies and expiration alerts, remote connections, SSH key management, DevOps secrets, directory integration and access through iOS and Android apps. These are vendor-described capabilities, not a statement that every function is present in every license or configuration.
Which edition includes the controls you need?
The distinction between the password vault and Enterprise PAM matters in procurement: Securden marks several privileged-access functions as available only in Enterprise PAM. Confirm the SKU and deployment-specific availability in writing rather than inferring inclusion from a general feature page.
#1 Best Overall
- POWERFUL SECURITY KEY: The Security Key C NFC is the essential physical passkey for protecting your digital life from phishing attacks. It ensures only you can access your accounts.

Choose a deployment based on control and operating effort
Securden offers SaaS/cloud and on-premises deployment; its product materials also discuss private-cloud hosting. An on-premises installation requires a Windows Server host according to the vendor, while users can access the vault from other operating systems. Confirm current platform, sizing and network requirements with Securden before design or purchase. The product overview and cloud page describe the available approaches.
- SaaS/cloud: Ask where data is hosted, how updates and backups are handled, and what administrative controls and assurance materials apply.
- Private cloud: Clarify the hosting boundary, who operates each component, and what responsibilities remain with your team.
- On-premises: Plan for server operations, upgrades, backups and recovery, and determine whether the required Windows Server environment and network isolation match your standards.
Deployment choice is not simply a preference for cloud versus local hosting. Compare data-location requirements, operational ownership, isolation, recovery expectations and the precise edition needed.

What the published security claims do—and do not—show
Securden’s product materials describe AES-256 encryption, an installation-specific key stored separately from encrypted data, and TLS for communications. Its on-premises security design document says the product can be configured for FIPS-compliant mode and supports Securosys HSM for master-key management. The document also describes an MSP edition with multi-tenant data segregation. These are vendor-documented design claims; they do not establish how a customer’s deployment is configured, that a particular certification applies, or that every threat is addressed. Review the product overview and on-premises security design document.
Before approval, request current assurance reports, deployment architecture, key-management details, incident terms and configuration guidance. Assess those materials against your own security requirements; a product feature description alone is not an independent security assessment.
Audit, compliance and integrations
The vendor says activity records can include password access, session launches and modifications, and describes audit trails, access reviews, reports and session logging as controls that can support compliance work. Such controls may help teams gather evidence, but the software itself does not guarantee compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIS2 or another framework. Confirm retention, export, access-review and reporting behavior against your control requirements. See the feature page.
Rank #3
Official materials describe Active Directory and LDAP integration, SAML-based SSO, MFA integrations, mobile apps, browser extensions, APIs and DevOps tooling. The cloud page displays integrations including Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, Duo, Google services and SIEM-related products. A logo or general integration claim is not enough to establish compatibility with your environment.
- Confirm the exact connector, protocol and supported product versions.
- Check whether the integration requires a particular edition or deployment.
- Establish who maintains the connection and how failures are monitored.
- Test whether the workflow covers your actual identity provider, MFA and DevOps use cases.

Pricing and contract questions
A usable public price figure is not established in the referenced listings. Gartner Peer Insights describes per-user pricing with annual subscriptions or perpetual licensing and tiered plans, but does not provide an actionable price. Cybernews, in a review last updated September 8, 2026, characterizes most pricing as quote-based; that is the reviewer’s account, not an official price list. See the Gartner Peer Insights listing and Cybernews review.
Rank #4

Request a written quote that itemizes user count, edition, SaaS versus self-hosting, support, upgrades and maintenance, onboarding, renewal terms and any minimum commitments. Compare the full contract cost rather than treating a per-user figure as the whole expense.
Gartner’s listing also displayed a June 16, 2026 entry explicitly labeled as placeholder content that does not reflect actual user responses or opinions. It should not be treated as customer satisfaction evidence.
Who should consider it—and how to assess fit
The documented capabilities may suit organizations that need shared credential storage, controlled access, approvals, audit visibility and directory integration, or that want to manage DevOps secrets in the same broader workflow. Teams seeking privileged-account discovery, rotation, session recording or related functions should evaluate the Enterprise PAM edition specifically.
Use these questions to structure a demonstration and proposal review:
- What operating model fits? Compare cloud, private-cloud and on-premises control with the staff effort and recovery responsibilities each entails.
- Is a standard vault enough? Separate routine credential sharing from privileged-access workflows such as discovery, rotation and session recording.
- Which controls are mandatory? Map audit, session, rotation, high availability and disaster-recovery needs to the quoted edition.
- Will it work in your stack? Validate directory, SSO, MFA, SIEM, ticketing and DevOps coverage, including supported versions and ownership of maintenance.
- Can security teams validate the design? Obtain current assurance documentation and details on encryption and key management for the proposed deployment.
- Is the commercial offer complete? Compare licensing, support, upgrades, onboarding, renewal terms and minimums across the full contract.
The available material does not establish a same-method competitor test or a fully comparable total-cost matrix, so it cannot support a performance ranking against other enterprise vaults.
